Apple iPad 7th generation, Is it worth upgrading?

This is my review of the 7th Generation iPad:

Hello guys, The 7th generation iPad is the last iPad released in 2019!
Let’s discuss the main features of it:

The screen is 10.2\ Retina Display, and it occupies 74.4% of the front of the device, It comes with 264ppi and 2160×1620 resolution.

The CPU inside is the A10 Fusion with 16nm build and 4 cores, The iPad scored 211788 points with Antutu Benchmark app.

Some of the tests didn’t score high points, though, The CPU inside is the same as the CPU with iPhone 7

The GPU is the PowerVR Series7XT Plus, It comes with 6 cores

These CPU and GPU gives the iPad a mid-range performance, Even though the GPU and CPU are considered mid-range, yet games like PUBG started with high settings.

PUBG and Call of Duty Mobile performances were high, It also provides better frames. Gaming on this device will be satisfactory.

This iPad is shipped with the new iPad OS. It is designed for iPads and looks very similar to iOS.

This OS brings lots of features from laptops. This iPad could replace a computer.

The RAM is 3GB and the onboard storage is 32GB or 128GB, It also supports Smart Keyboard from Apple using the smart connector.

The iPad supports the Apple Pencil first generation only. You can charge the Pencil using the lightning port.

It also comes with a fingerprint sensor to unlock the device, and it performs well.

It supports Bluetooth 4.2 and 3.5mm headphone jack, which is great for listening to connect using a headphone.

The rear camera is 8MP with an F/2.4 aperture. The selfie camera is 1.2MP with an F/2.2 aperture.

The rear camera is similar to the iPhone 5, but it performance on iPad is way better, And this is due the better CPU it has.

The battery is 8827mAh, and it charges using the lightning port, and it comes with gold, silver and space grey colors.

Pros:

the price, Apple Pencil first gen support and the fingerprint sensor.

Cons:

it doesn’t support the True Tone feature, which means if you use it a lot, it will tire your eyes.

Also, the bezels are big. It reminds me of the old iPads.

Is this the best iPad to buy?

Yes, If you don’t want spend a lot of money and want a bigger screen to watch content on.

It is good to watch content on. The audio quality is also great.

Gaming is also good on this iPad.

This doesn’t replace iPad Pro. iPad Pro is designed for people who want more power and specs.

iPad Air is the lite version of iPad, but its performance isn’t that good compared to iPad Pros.

This iPad is excellent to watch content on, gaming, but it is not for editing 4K, and using graphic apps.

This iPad is considered mid-range and it is the predecessor of iPad 6th generation, It is not the predecessor of iPad Pro or iPad Air.

Today we have the Toshiba RZE-BT1200H headphones, It is a headphone from Toshiba, and it supports active noise cancellation.

It is comfortable to wear as it only weighs 154g, Most of the headphone is made from plastic except for the hinges.

The hinges are made from metal, The build quality of this headphone is very good.

The headphones come with two comfortable leather ear cushions, There’s another leather cushion for the head.

The headphone comes with a number of buttons, like the power button, volume rockers and the ANC button to enable and disable Active Noise Cancellation.

One of the features of this headphone is that it supports your phone’s personal assistant.

It works with both Google Assistant and Apple’s Siri, You can enable the personal assistant by pressing twice on the power button.

Once you double press on the power button, Siri or Google Assistant will activate and start listening to you.

The volume rockers double as media control buttons if you press and hold on each one.

The headphones support bluetooth 5 and can be paired to only one device.

It also comes with an AUX port to enable you to connect a headphone jack instead of using bluetooth connection.

The headphones comes with a 500mAh battery with 5w charging support.

The battery charges using the Micro USB port.

The battery lasts for 20 hours or 15 hours with ANC enabled, The battery is very good considering the price of the headphones.

We thoroughly tested the headphones and its battery, The battery life varies depending on the usage and volume level.

It might be slightly better or slightly less depending on different circumstances, The connection range is up to 10m.

We experimented it in an open area. The phone was 14 steps away from the headphones.

The connection didn’t drop and it was stable, We’ve tested this headphones, and here’s the results:

The headphones are lightweight, and comfortable to wear, It won’t be irritating while wearing it.

With time, your ears might be a little warm, which is normal because of the leather cushions.

The headphones provide clear audio, and the subwoofer provides medium performance.

I consider my experience with it satisfactory, ANC works well, but it will pressurize your ears.

With extended time, this could be irritating, The headphones comes with an integrated mic.

After experimenting with it, it provides good performance, There’s a little bit of echo, but in general, the mic does its job well.

Since we’re discussing a Toshiba product, there’s something you should know about them.

Toshiba’s SD Cards and flash drives are now owned by KIOXIA company.

KIOXIA is a Japanese company specialized in manufacturing storages.

KIOXIA was part of Toshiba. The full name of the company was Toshiba Memory Holding Corporation.

In 2019, they became a separate company, and their name has become KIOXIA.

Let’s go back the headphones and the content of the box, The box include a headphone bag, a USB cable and an AUX cable.

And as I mentioned before, the price of the headphones is less than 100 USD. (VAT included)

Pros:

It is comfortable to wear, and compared to the performance the price is excellent.

The battery life is satisfactory, It also supports Google Assistant and Siri.

You can indulge with your content and enjoy using voice commands, You won’t need cables whatsoever to enable this feature.

Cons:

ANC feature isn’t the best feature on this headphone, but for this price, it is good to have it, With extended period of usage, your ears might be a little pressurized, But you might get used to it with time.

In this blog, w’ll get to know two devices from Huawei, I’ll review the Huawei Watch GT 2e and the latest MatePad Pro tablet.
I’ll also review all of the tablet’s accessories.

hello guys, Let me first start with the Huawei MatePad Pro, It comes with a thin design and light weight.

The back contains a protruding vertical camera set up with an LED flash, The front comes with a full screen, There’s a punch hole in the top left of the screen to house the front facing camera.

The thickness of the device is 7.2mm, and it weighs 460g, The screen size is 10.8\ ». It is LCD and is called Huawei FullView Display.

It is called FullView because the screen to body ratio is nearly 90%, The MatePad Pro comes with 4 speakers tuned by Harman Kardon with Huawei HiSten 6.0 technology.

These speakers produce clear audio. I hope laptops come with such quality speakers.

Once you hear the audio on these speakers, you’ll agree with me.

The MatePad Pro supports Huawei’s M Pencil, It supports 4600 pressure sensitivity levels.

It attaches to the tablet magnetically, It also supports Super Magnetic keyboard.

It also doubles as a cover for the tablet, and it attaches magnetically,The keyboard buttons are comfortable to use.

The keyboard turns the tablet into a desktop-like tablet.

The MatePad come with a 13MP rear camera, It supports autofocus and shoots videos with 4K@30fps.

It also supports AI photography, and after experimenting with it, it provides acceptable sharpness and details.

But don’t expect it to provide high performance. Usually, tablets don’t come with high end cameras like premium phones.

The videos are a little bit shaky, but it does its job, The front facing camera is 8MP, and it shoots videos with 1080p@30fps.

And after experimenting with it, it provides good details and sharpness with a little skin smoothing.

The videos are shaky, but it also does its job, The MatePad Pro comes with the Kirin 990 with 8 cores and 7nm build, The GPU is the Mali G76 MC16.

In Geekbench 5, the CPU scored 747 points for single core and 2834 points for multicore.

This is where the CPU is ranked among other competitors, PUBG game started with high settings and it the smoothness was excellent.

This tablet could be a great choice for those who play PUBG as it comes with a big screen. It feels like you’re playing on a TV.

The MatePad Pro comes with two versions, the first one is 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage, This version is the one I am reviewing in this video.

The second version comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, This tablet supports a SIM card and Nano card up to 256GB. »
The OS is Android 10 with EMUI 10.1

The UI supports side menu, which enables you to open moveable apps, It also supports night mode and Kids Mode, which offers a kids UI.

With this UI, you can adjust the table to be used for kids, The MatePad Pro comes with the App Gallery store, because of the problem between Google and Huawei.

The App Gallery is the third biggest App Store in the world, Huawei is working hard to support all local apps like Absher, STC Pay and international apps like Snapchat and others.

It supports Multi-Screen collaboration. It works with the Mate 30 and P40 series, You can broadcast your device’s screen on the tablet.

It unlock using face recognition, but it uses 2D photos instead of 3D technology. I don’t advise using it.

The reason is that it doesn’t come with 3D sensors for secure face recognition, It doesn’t come with a fingerprint sensor.

The MatePad Pro supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi and Bluetooth 5.1 It also comes with a USB-C port.

The battery is 7250mAh and it supports fast charging up to 20w,
According to Huawei, charging it for 30 minutes gives you 3 hours of usage.

It supports wireless charging up to 15w but it is hard to charge a tablet on a small wireless charger.

It also supports reverse wireless charging with 7.5w, For such a device, I think the charging capabilities could’ve been better.

But these capabilities are good nonetheless, The box contains a fast wall adapter, charging cable, The MatePad Pro comes in night grey color.

The offer comes with extended warranty, 50GB cloud storage for a year.

Pros:

The design is modern and beautiful, The Pencil is great for painters and those who write a lot.

The pencil performs really well, It supports wireless and reverse wireless charging.

Cons:

It doesn’t support fingerprint sensor and it only supports face recognition and pattern.

And those who use Google apps, will have to side-load the apps on the device.

Let me now discuss the Huawei Watch GT 2e, It is very similar to the design of the GT 2.

The only difference is that the design is ‘sporty’ which is really cool, The watch is made from metal, and the band is made from rubber with venting holes in it.

The size of the watch is 46.8mm, The watch is 5ATM water resistant, which means it resists water up to 50m.

There are two side buttons, the first one takes you to the exercises menu and the second takes to you to the main menu.

The screen size is 1.39\ » AMOLED with 454×454 resolution, It supports touch input, and it provides lots of sport watch faces that you can change from the system.

The watch comes with the Kirin A1 chip, which is the first chip for wearables from Huawei.

According to Huawei, this chips offers high performance and low power consumption using algorithms.

The watch calculates your steps, heart beat and Huawei’s True Sleep 2.0, This technology tracks your sleep and provides you with suggestions to enhance your sleep.

But in order for you to manage your sleep, you’ll have to wear the watching while sleeping and keep it charged.

And in this blog, I’ll let you know how much time does the battery last, The Huawei GT 2e recognizes lots of exercises like running in a closed or open place.

It also recognizes swimming, walking, hiking, free exercises and others, If ypur’re wondering how does it recognize running in a closed place, this watch comes with GPS, and it also recognizes treadmill devices.

It works with Android and iOS systems, You can pair this watch using Huawei Health app.

The app also supports running, walking, heart rate and sleep tracking, It also supports GPS sports.

We tried pairing this watch with an iPhone, and the experiment was good.

Once paired, the watch will be able to find devices if they’re connected and in range.

You can also connect bluetooth headphones to it and listen to content on it.

The onboard storage on this watch is 4GB, The battery lasts up to 14 days, but it depends on your usage, 14 days is an excellent feature.

Which is an excellent price, The watch comes with red, black and light green colors.

Pros:

honestly, the design is very beautiful, Tech Pills team and I like the design, It is also beautiful once worn.

The screen is beautiful and it provides lots of exercises, The battery also lasts 14 days, which is excellent.

If you use it with Huawei devices, it’ll provide great experience, Especially with high end devices like the P40 Pro.

Cons:

if you use it with other devices, it won’t provide the best experience, just like Apple Watch, which doesn’t work without an Apple device.

It might be hard to pair this device with devices other than Huawei’s, Which might make the watch lose its smoothness.
