A company contacted us saying that we have an important device for anyone who creates content on any platform. It is also for anyone who wants to live broadcast on Zoom or any other broadcasting app.
In this review, I’ll introduce you to two new devices that offer features content creators will need.
This single device combines editing, broadcasting and many other things at the same time, it also supports vertical broadcasting.
Using this device, you can stream on Instagram and TikTok.
This device don’t broadcast on YouTube and Twitch, but there’s another device in this review that does it, it also supports lots of other platforms.
The latest software update brought support to broadcasting on Facebook.
You can except great things from this device.
Let me introduce you to the Yolo Live and the YoloBox devices.🙈🙉🙊
Both of these devices are from a company that contacted me saying that they’ve created something different.
They sent me these devices and we tested them. And in this review, I’ll discuss my full experiment with them.
Let me now start the review of the YoloLive Instream device:

This device allows connecting more than a camera while live broadcasting.
You can also adjust the audio using the internal mixer. It also offers navigation while switching between cameras.
Let me start with the summary of these devices:
One of the main features of this device
is that it comes with a SIM card. You can start a broadcast without connecting to a router or a WiFi network. It also supports lots of features, such as connecting two
different cameras at the same time while broadcasting.
The live broadcasting quality is satisfactory. You can also connect it using a WiFi network. It supports different ports and can record
live stream using an SD card.
It supports WiFi among many other technologies, and gets frequent software updates to get new features from the manufacturer, it connects to Instagram without third-party apps.
You can also copy a link to the live stream and paste it on different social media platforms.
You can use these devices in different events where you can connect different cameras and broadcast using the internal mixer.
Cons: 🫣🤷♂️
The supported apps are limited. I wished Youtube was supported, but I guess with a software update, it’ll be supported, just like Facebook.
Sometimes, the live stream is interrupted, especially when the device is connected to a WiFi network. It is best to use the LAN port as it
provides the best performance.
The device has a screen and comes with all the ports that are required for live broadcasting. I’ll tell you about these ports later in this review.
The device is made from carbon fibers, which is great for shock resistant. It also comes with a 1/4 thread, which enables you to fixate it on a camera.
I wished that the devices comes with two 1/4 threads, one on the top and other on the side. The device weighs 600g, and the thickness is 25mm.
I won’t discuss its size, as it is considered small compared to other broadcasting devices that I have here. These kind of devices are getting smaller with time, but this one is different.
The YoloLive Instream runs Android and has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU with 8 cores. The GPU is the Andreno 630.
In general, the performance of the CPU is enough for the features that are supported on this device. It is enough for connecting two cameras and switching between them. It also comes with 8GB of RAM, which is satisfactory. It also has 64GB of It also supports an external card with
128GB, 256GB and 1TB storage. And it supports live broadcasting with 1080p resolution.
This resolution is great for most live streaming platforms. The device comes with touch input 8″ screen. It supports up to 600 nits resolution. Which is great for closed places. It also supports broadcasting with But make sure that your internet connection
is stable to get the best results.
Apps support varies. For example, Instagram only supports 30fps, even though the device itself supports 60fps.
The device supports a feature called Transitions, which is great for editors. This feature can be added while switching from a camera to another.
There’s also lots of effects that can be added while switching from a camera to another. The device also supports Lower Thirds. This allows you to add titles, names of hosts, links and so on. It also has a countdown timer.
The device supports broadcasting on Instagram TikTok, Zoom, and Facebook was newly added.
We’ve tested the device with these platforms, and the resolution and smoothness was satisfactory. But why use such a device when you can use the app itself to make a live stream?
Because sometimes, you want to use professional cameras or add effects and so on. It is great for those who earn money from live streams or who want to record their sessions.
This device allows for more camera features instead of relying on the cameras of the phone itself.
The device allows for recording session on an SD card up to 60 minutes. But make sure to use the supported SD cards.
The device supports Audio Mixer, which allows you to adjust the audio of the live stream, it supports MP4 and H.264 codecs, it supports 48Khz and 16-bit audio.
The device supports dual band WiFi and LTE networks using Micro SIM cards, it also has an internal battery, which allows you to run the device without requiring an external power supply, it supports charging with 10W, and the by the way, the battery is 10,000mAh, it lasts for 3 hours of continuous streaming. But I advise you to have a charger next to you if your’e planning on making a long live streaming video.
The YoloLive Instream comes with a number of ports. There are 2x HDMI ports that you can use to connect the cameras, or use the GoPro cameras, or even your smartphones or laptops. You can also connect a PS device.
You can also use a splitter to connect two devices through one HDMI port.
The device also comes with an HDMI Out to connect it to a bigger screen. There’s also a USB port to connect a webcam to it. There’s a LAN port and a USB-C port for charging.
There’s a 3.5mm headphones jack and another 2x 3.5mm jacks, one for audio and the other for the mic. There’s a sim card tray and an SD card slot. But these ports are close to the 1/4 thread.
So, when you place the device on a tripod, these ports will be blocked.
The price of the device is great: 1299 USD, The price might be high, but other devices costs more than 20,000 SAR and require additional devices to work.
With this device, your live stream videos and video recordings will be professional. With it, you can switch between cameras, make zoom in
and zoom out, especially if you have a camera operator.
With one device, you can make a full podcast session.
You won’t need any cables, other than the cables connecting the device to the cameras. There are devices, that I’ve reviewed before, that allow you to broadcast video using HDMI.
The device receives the video wirelessly, which is great. This device adds lots of value to those who need it, But if you find its price expensive! 🤷♂️
Let me now discuss my experience with this device: 🥹
It is smaller in size, lighter and easy to mobilize, it also provides satisfactory broadcasting quality, it has an internal battery that for about 2-3 hours.
And similar to its bigger brother, it has an HDMI port, supports SIM card and WiFi network.

Cons:
It supports Youtube and Twitch only, I wished that it supported Instagram and TikTok. I expect it to be software related. It is up to you to decide if you need Twitch and Youtube or not.
The YoloBon Mini is a mini version of the Instream version, and comes with the same material; carbon fiber.
The device weighs 320g and the thickness is 20mm, it is also a little bit thinner, it comes with a touch input 5.5″ LED, screen with 500 nits of brightness.
The brightness level is satisfactory considering that these devices are used indoors, The CPU is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 with 8 cores.
The RAM is 3GB and the storage is 32GB, it runs Android with the YoloLive UI on top of it.
You’ll be able to broadcast on a number of platforms at the same time. You can broadcast on Youtube, Twitter and Facebook, and supports the RTMP protocol.
This protocol provides a link that you can use on different platforms such as Twitter.
The streaming smoothness is good, and is compatible with other platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and so on.
The device supports recording sessions using the SD card slot, it supports SD cars up to 512GB, it supports MP4 and H.264, it supports 1080p@60fps, but it depends on the platform, and it supports Audio Mixer, which allows you to control
the mic volume from the camera or an external mic.
The YoloBox Mini supports dual band WiFi, It also supports 4G/LTE networks, it has a LAN ethernet port.
The battery is 4700mAh and it lasts for 2-3 hours. We’ve tested the device on YouTube and Twitch, and the experiment was good.😎
We’ve had some problems trying to connect it, but it’ll be solved with future software updates.
In general, its performance is satisfactory. The device comes with different ports, but it is less than the ports on its bigger brother.
There’s the HDMI port to connect the camera, laptop, smartphone. There’s the USB port to connect a webcam to it.
There’s a LAN port and a USB-C charging port, it has a 3.5mm headphones jack.
There’s also another 2x 3.5mm jacks,
one for audio and other for the mic. There’s an SD card slot and the SIM card tray.
The price of this device is 698 USD, nearly 2600 SAR.🤑🤑
Using these devices, you can make professional live streams. You can connect your USB cameras to these
devices to benefit from them as well.
You can connect GoPro or Sony cameras to it using the USB port. The choice is your. Check the link of YOLOLive link.
The opinion in this review my firends are personal 🥹
