Hello guys, are you hesitant to buy this phone? So bring your coffee and welcome:
This is the Vivo X50 Pro 5G, The front and back are made from glass and the frame is made from aluminum.
The device comes with lots of specs, and I’ll you about my experience with it in this blog.
Let me start with the design: The device comes with curved edges with a Vivo logo at the bottom left.
The rear cameras are housed in a vertical rectangular setup. The front is a curved screen with a top left punch hole to house the front facing camera.
The device weighs 181.5g, and it its thickness is 8.04mm. The design is great and you can use the device with one hand without any problems.
The screen size is 6.56 and it comes with FHD+ 2376×1080 resolution. It is an AMOLED panel and it is called 3D Curved Screen. The 4 edges come with a 3D curviness.
The curviness give the device a smoother usage, and you’ll notice it with games and intensive usage. But you’ll need to get used to it first. The content also must support the higher refresh rate.
Our device comes with 4 rear cameras and a single front facing camera. The main camera is 48MP. It is called the Gimbal Main Camera Bigeye.
What’s distinguishable about this camera is that is comes with a mini gimbal inside similar to GoPro cameras.
This will help in tracking and objects and people in the frame.
It also provides 3D steadiness which offers better steadiness than OIS.
The second camera is the 13MP Portrait lens. The third is the Ultra Wide 8MP lens. The fourth is the Periscope Telephoto 8MP lens. The front facing camera is 32MP.
But the numbers don’t tell the full story. The main camera takes good photos with satisfactory light.
The details of the photos vary. Sometimes, they’re good, other times they’re very good.
The same thing applies to colors. Sometimes, they’re cold, other times, they’re warm. It depends on color processing in the device itself.
It consider it a personal preference. The Ultra Wide camera provide good details.
But sometimes, the colors are a bit bright, and it depends on different circumstances.
The Ultra Wide photos take photos with 120 degrees of view.
Sometimes, it gives a fisheye effect photos.
The device supports 5x optical zoom, with very good results.
It also supports up to 60x digital zoom, but of course the quality will degrade.
In portrait photos, the light could’ve been better.
The edges are not fully isolated, especially when the object is a human.
But it also depends on different circumstances. But in general, the results are satisfactory.
The device takes very good night photos. But in dark setting, the details will be degraded.
The results may vary. But always make sure the the camera captures light. The device takes Macro photos using the Ultra Wide lens.
After experimenting with it, the results vary.
Sometimes, the results are good, other times, the results are not accurate. But it is a great thing that this device supports Macro photos.
The rear camera supports 4K@60fps videos. It offers saturated colors and good details.

But with 4K videos, the shakiness is a bit high. But this can be solved with the Ultra Steady feature.
It offers better steadiness, but it only works with 1080@60fps videos.
Honestly, it is a great resolution for those who need to shoot videos on their devices.
The rear camera also support Smart Zoom for videos. When activated, the zoomed objected will be tracked in a smart way.
The device also shoots slo-mo videos with 720p@200fps. The front facing camera offers good outcome.
But the colors are a bit bright, and the skin is a little beautified. But it varies depending on different circumstances.
Portrait photos using the front facing camera come with good details and isolation.

Unlike other devices that don’t support Google services because of the tension between them and Google.

And after experimenting with it, its responsive is good.
It also unlocks using the front facing camera, but it is not secure as it doesn’t have dedicated sensors. It supports HiRes Audio, and it comes with the AK 4377A audio chip.
This chip helps in providing audio with better quality and depth.

After experimenting with it, it offers good audio similar to other speakers found in different devices.
Vivo didn’t invest in bringing stereo speakers to the device.

But also the device comes with the USB-C to 3.5mm headphone adapter.
