James Bond’s phone! đ In this ARTICLE, I’ll review the Nokia 8.3 5G device.
Hello again my friends, I buy the modern devices offered for sale in the market, with the aim of studying them, and presenting their pros and cons to you before buying the device to protect your money, but you only have to bring your coffee and let ‘s start our review guys đ
Most of the material of this device are made from plastic, The back contains the rear cameras housed in a circular design. The front is made from glass with a circular punch hole to house the front facing camera.
It also comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the side power button. There’s also a second button on the other house to enable Google Assistant.
The thickness of the device is 8.99mm. You could say it is 9mm, It weighs 277g. The screen size is 6.81, with 2400×1080 resolution.
The screen is FHD+ LCD, it is called PureDisplay with 20:9 aspect ratio, This screen is bigger than the biggest iPhone screen released in 2020, It is bigger than the iPhone 12 Pro Max screen.
There’s a feature also called PureDisplay to adjust the brightness, contrast, and colors automatically depending on the content itself.
For example, đ when you look at photos, the screen will provide the best colors and contrast. When you play a game, it will provide the best gaming experience.
The device comes with 4 rear cameras engineered by Zeiss. The main is the 64MP camera. The second is 12MP Ultra Wide camera. The third is the 2MP Depth sensor.
The fourth is the 2MP Macro lens, And of course there’s a 24MP front facing camera, The cameras on this device provide good capabilities, It supports Panorama, HDR, Pro Mode and so on.
The camera captures light well, and the colors are a bit cold. Portrait photos are good. It reminds us of photo processing on Pixel devices.
I am not saying it is the same as the Pixel, but the Portrait photos are good on this device. The Ultra Wide camera provides more saturated colors.
But you’d notice a little bit of noise with low light, Macro photos are good and provide detailed photos of the objects using the Macro lens.
The Wide and Ultra Wide camera support Night Mode, The results are acceptable. The front facing camera provides good details and saturated colors.

Portrait photos are acceptable, Videos shot on this device are beautiful.
The device supports Cinematic Videos with 20:9 aspect ratio, It’ll provide good details, Especially with 4K@24fps videos, It also supports reducing air noises, which could be ideal for those who shoot videos outdoor.
The Nokia 8.3 supports Cinematic Mode, This mode helps in changing colors, and supports different aspect ratios, It also supports the Wide and Ultra Wide cameras.
The Ultra Wide angle supports 0.6 zoom out, This is a sample of the Cinematic Mode and how the videos look like. The capabilities Nokia decided to add to this Nokia 8.3 are amazing.
There are lots of photography options, Nokia has indeed invested in the cameras of this device, It comes with a big screen and capable cameras.
This could make this device a great option for users, You could say this device is basically a camera with a huge View Finder, The device also supports an old feature but it is enhanced on this device.
This feature is shooting videos using the rear and front facing cameras together, You could shoot a video using the Wide Camera and the Ultra Wide camera at the same time.
Or you could shoot using the front facing camera and the Wide camera, or even the front facing camera and the Macro lens. The CPU inside this device is the Snapdragon 765G. It is built using 7nm architecture, The GPU is the Adreno 620.
In GeekBench 5, the CPU scored 651 points with the single core and 1930 points with the multi-cores. Here’s where the CPU performance is ranked among other competitors.
PUBG game started with high settings. The performance was excellent and the graphics were amazing thanks to the PureDisplay feature, which adjusted the colors.
HDR feature was enabled too, But it didn’t work automatically, The device comes in two versions: 6GB of RAM and 63GB of onboard storage.
or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, It supports either 2 SIM cards or one SIM card and an SD card up to 512GB.
The device runs Android 10 with Android One UI on top of it, It is nearly a Stock Android experience. The OS receives updates directly from Google.
The device unlocks using the fingerprint sensor embedded in the side power button. The performance of the sensor is good. It is not that great, but it is good. It also unlocks using the front facing camera, but I don’t advise using it, because it doesn’t have dedicated 3D sensors.
That’s why I advise you to rely on the fingerprint sensor, The device supports bluetooth 5 and NFC and is compatible with Mada Pay in all countries.
The device supports 5G and here’s a test of the 5G speeds, The device comes with a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The battery inside is 4500mAh, And according to Nokia, it lasts for two days, but I see it differently. It is up to your usage, The charger that comes in the box is 18w.
It fully charges the battery in 1.45 hours to 2 hours. The box contains the device itself, cover, 18w charger, charging cable and 3.5mm headphones.
Let me remind you that the charger in the box is compatible with your market. The device comes with Polar Night color.
Pros:đ
the screen is big, camera performance is good, Gaming performance is also good with huge screen and auto color adjusting.
Pros:đ
we’ve encountered a problem while setting up the device, Even though we’ve updated the OS to the latest version.
The screen is LCD with 60Hz support, We would’ve preferred if it was OLED or AMOLED or any other screen technology.
As I always say, check your needs first before purchasing any device, see you in the next review my dear.đ
