Friends❗️ This is the new OPPO Reno 10 5G❗️

The frame of the device is made from aluminium, while the back is made from plastic. The back has an oval modular that’s split into two parts.

The top part is where the main camera is located, while the bottom part is where the zoom and Ultra Wide cameras are located.

The front of the device is mostly a screen with a punch hole in the top middle to house the front facing camera.

Let’s now discuss the details of this device: 🙉🙊🙈

The device weighs 185g, and it is packed with specs and features. The screen is 3D curved from both sides.

The screen is 6.7″ AMOLED with an AGC Dragontrail Star protection layer on top of it. This new type of protection layer is first used on Oppo devices.

The screen to body ratio is 93%, and the resolution is 2421×1080 with 394ppi density. It supports 120Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+ and Dimming 2160Hz PWM.

The screen’s brightness reaches up to 950 nits. And for a higher security, the device comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The main camera is 64MP, and the second is the 32MP Telephoto lens with x2 optical zoom and 20x digital zoom. The third is the Ultra Wide 8MP camera. The front facing camera is 32MP.

But how do these cameras perform?

The main and Ultra Wide cameras provided identical performance. The level of color saturation was balanced and overall the performance was very good. Portrait performance was good. While the Night Mode results were acceptable.

The front facing camera provides bright and high quality photos. The device supports recording 1080p@60fps and 4K@30fps videos. However, 4K videos were a bit shaky.

The device runs Color OS 13.1 on top of Android 13, and it fully supports Google services.

The device either comes with 256GB storage and 8GB RAM or 128GB storage and 8GB RAM. The device can increase the RAM up to additional 8GB using software.

The CPU is teh MediaTek Dimensity 7050 with 6nm architecture built. The GPU is the Mali-G68.

In Geekbench test, the CPU scored 960 points for the single core and 2432 points for multicores.

Here’s where the CPU performance is ranked among other competitors:

PUBG game started with the high settings and provided 40fps.

The device supports unlocking using the in-display fingerprint sensor
and Android’s steps such as pattern and the unadvised face recognition.

The battery of the device is 5000mAh, and it supports fast charging with 67W, and the charger comes in the box. We tested the charger, as it charged the battery from 0% to 100% in 47 minutes. By the way, we test the charging capabilities more than once.

The device supports 5G, WiFi 6, bluetooth 5.3 and NFC.

The box includes the device, protection cover, charging cable and the charger. And it comes with two colors: Silver Grey or Ice Blue.

Pros: 😍

The speakers are loud and clear, the battery is huge and supports fast charging.

Cons: 😒😏

I wished that the CPU offered higher performance❗️🙈

However, there’s a more powerful version of this device called Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G. The device weighs 194G, and comes with a 50MP main
camera, Telephoto 64MP, and the Ultra Wide is 8MP. The front facing camera is 32MP. It supports a feature called Pro XDR.

We tested this device and it offered a very good performance.

However, this version comes with a 4700mAh battery, But it supports fast charging with 100W, and the charger comes in the box, and the CPU of this device is the SD 8+ Gen 1.

This is a different device from the one we’re reviewing in this review guys, that is the Oppo Reno10 5G.

The price of the Oppo Reno10 5G starts from 399 USD, or 359 Euros.

This makes it a great competitor for this price range. While the Pro+ version starts from 2999 SAR, This has been my review of Oppo’s new devices.😎

Let me know what do you think of the advancements of Oppo in the last few years, especially with their UI.

See you later! 🤭
