Blog 34: November 01-2020, at 09:00 pm

This is the size difference between the new Xbox devices, Let me tell you some details about the new Xbox device since I’ve already unboxed them.

Hello guys, bring your coffee and welcome to this new blog, These are the new Xbox devices. The black one is the series X and the white one is series S.

Xbox series S doesn’t come with a blu-ray reader, while the series X comes with one. Let me now tell you the experience of unboxing these devices starting with the series S.
Once you open the box, you’ll be welcomed with the device itself, and it’ll talk about it later.

There’s also a bag that contains the controller.Similar to the color of the device itself, the controller comes with the same white color.
Inside the bag there’s also the batteries. There’s also an HDMI 2.1 cable and the power cable.

This time, the device doesn’t come with a huge power supply. To power it, only connect it to the power cable, There are ports that the series S comes with.

The unboxing experience of the series X is the same, but this time, the device is bigger. Once you open the box, you’ll be met with the device itself wrapped in black paper similar to the color of the device itself.
Once you remove the wrapping paper, you’ll find the huge brick of a device. I’ll compare both of their sizes later in this blog guys.

There’s also a bag that contains the black controller that comes with the same color as the device itself and also the batteries. These controllers work on both devices, but that’s not the point. There’s also another HDMI 4.1 cable and the power cable. There’s also another HDMI 2.1 cable.

Have you noticed how many times I’ve said HDMI 2.1? 🤔
There’s an HDMI 2 version and another HDMI 2.1 version. HDMI 2.1 cable enables 8K and 4K@120fps gaming. But if your smart TV only supports 4K@60fps, then the HDMI 2.0 cable will be enough. If you encounter problems during gaming such as lag, then the problem could be from he HDMI cable itself. I just wanted to clear it out.

When you carry both devices together, they’ll be heavy. There’s a huge difference in sizes and weights between both of these devices.

The Xbox series S weighs nearly 2kg, white the Xbox series X weighs 4.4kg.You can use these devices both, in vertical and horizontal modes. I previously discussed whether you’ll need the S version with no blu-ray player or the X version, which supports blu-ray player. These new generations of Xbox devices are supposed to work for years from now. This is the first time in history where both companies, Sony and Microsoft, issue two devices at the same year.

Microsoft previously released a digital version of an Xbox devices, but that was after the blu-ray version was in the market already. Sony did the same thing with the Lite version. But this is the first time both companies do it in launch time. You’ll have to pick of these and use it for users from now.

The height of the series X is 30cm, while the series S is 27.5cm. The height of these devices is similar. The width of the series S is 6.5cm, while the width of the series X is 15+cm.The Xbox series X is 2.5x bigger than the series S.The Xbox series X is nearly 4.5kg, while the series S is less than 2kg.

Both of them support storage expansion. One of them comes with 512GB of onboard storage out of the box and the other comes with 1TB. Both of them come with 3x 3.1 USB 1st gen ports. 1 on the front and two on the back. Both devices support 120fps. Both devices support 4K (1440).

But the series X supports 8K but not with gaming, just like Microsoft stated when they released the device. The series S supports upscaled 4K resolution. The series X supports 12 teraflops while the series S supports 4 teraflops. But what does this mean?

This means that media processing is more powerful on the series X. Both of them support DTS 5.1 audio, Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby True HD and Atmos. But it also depends on the content itself. Both also support Windows Sonic since both are form Microsoft. Both devices support WiFi AC, which is the best technology available thus far.

Both support Thunderbolt 1GBps ports. There’s a 9cm height different between this device and the PS5.The PS5 height is nearly 40cm.I find the Xbox series X a huge device, how would the PS5 compare to it in size?

I’ll bring the PS5, review it and compare it to this device. Keep visit our blogs reviews to read it.

See you later.
