Hi guys, and welcome to a new episode of Tech News by OTTO Tech Blog. This episode is full of news, so let’s start. 😊😎
Leaked photos of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 shows that the device will come with a bigger cover screen, The design looks similar to what Motorola has done, which is a great move from Samsung.
It is expected that the Flip device will bring lots of external changes. The current Z Flip 4 comes with a 1.9″ cover screen.
However, the new Motorola Razr comes with a 3.6″ cover screen. Samsung must bring new changes to their device. And as usual, the cameras of this device are expected to be more advanced. But will the device bring an In-Display fingerprint sensor? I’ll attend Samsung’s Unpacked event
in July, which will be held in Korea.
Google brought new features to the
Chrome browser for iOS users. They’re trying to woo iPhone users to use Chrome instead of Apple’s Safari.
Google brought a new features that
merges Google Lens with Chrome. This feature will allows users to make

Japan is studying a new law that forces Google and Apple to let users download apps from third party stores.
This is a new worldwide step to force companies to agree to allows competition on their platforms. Competition includes alternative payment methods.
Apple has strict laws against downloading apps from outside the App Store. This is a step to protect users’ privacy.
This wave of new laws will change the security of smartphones. Let me simplify it.
Apps that are downloaded from official app stores on iOS and Android are safe to use. Users can download these apps without worrying about their security. But when there’s a possibility to download risky apps from outside the app store, security will be compromised.
Apple’s strict laws doesn’t allow apps to be installed form outside the app store.
Android is the same, however, there’s an option in the settings that allows users to download form outside the official store.
However, most users don’t know about this option. Thus, they’ll download apps from the official store.
Europe and Japan are pushing Apple and Google to allow users to download apps from outside the official stores.
Don’t you think that this is backward move that is not in the best interest of users? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤥
Apps might be free to download from outside the store, but what about security? Let me know your opinion!
Meta reduces the minimum users age restriction for their Meta Quest 2, Pro and the upcoming Quest 3.
The new age requirement has been reduced from 13 to 10.
However, there’s a parental control that must be activated.
This could be a good idea for kids, however, parental control must be activated. The question is, will children follow the instructions?🤔
Children might be exposed to things that are not meant for them. This is step a development or a failure? It is a development if it is well controlled.
However, parents must supervised their kids’ activities. If not, they kids will be exposed to things they’re not supposed to see.
Google is suing a scammer who opened more than 350 accounts
and published more than 14,000 reviews on Google Review.
This guy must be really patient to
publish more than 14,000 reviews. These reviews are regarding evaluating businesses and so on. Google promises to continue fighting fake reviews and fake profiles.
In 2022, Google stopped 20m attempt to open fake accounts. More than 185,000 companies were protected from fake reviews.
Imagine you had a problem with store, and then you ask your friends and family to write fake reviews about this store.
Honesty is gone! 🤪
There are fake positive and negative reviews.
Mercedes Benz is testing ChatGPT in their cars. CHatGPT will act as a personal assistant.
This feature will allow drivers to ask
questions while still focusing on driving.
Mercedes is also testing 900,000 cars with their MBUX UI, which is Mercedes’ own infotainment system.
You can activate this feature by saying « Hello Mercedes », which I made a video about before. You can join the program by asking:
« Hello Mercedes, can I join the Beta program? »
If you’re part of the 900K cars, then you’ll join the program.
Is it safe, though, to chat with an AI and provide it with personal information?
I bought the Unreal Air AR glasses, and its review will be in the upcoming « Crazy Products » article review. The review will be published soon. Stay tuned.🤗🤗🤗💓
Intel drops the « i » letter from the naming of their Core i3, i5 and i7 CPUs. They now have a more simple naming scheme.
The names are only: « Intel, Intel Core and Intel Core Ultra. » Intel decided to change their trademark. The Ultra Line will be the most powerful CPU from Intel. While the « Intel Core » is the medium category. While the « Intel » is the entry level CPU.
This will make it more simple for users to choose a CPU that fits their needs.
What other company has an Ultra version of their CPUs along with Max and Pro?
There’s no problem with following the steps of a successful company by adopting similar tactics.
The review of the foldable Oppo
device is now available on the OTTO Magazin.🫡
We’ve reached the part of Arab News. 😋There’s a program that has been implemented in a university here in KSA.
However, this program can be successful if it is implemented in any university in the Arab world.
There’s a program called University Startup Program, founded in the Imam Mohammed Bin Saud university.
This program is in collaboration with Monsha’at, which is the Small and Medium Enterprise General Authority.
This program is basically a business incubator inside the university. It aims to develop initial business models and graduation projects in the university.
These projects will then become university companies through a number of training and consultation.
They also offer financial and services grants to transfer these business models to startups in 6 months.
More than 24 graduations projects have been turned to startups. And 16 ideas have turned into a business model. And 9 business models have immediately entered the market. 8 agreements have been signed during this incubator.
More than 34 contracts have been signed as well. And participants enjoyed more than 450 tutoring hours.
This project will also be implemented in Qasim.
Imagine being a student, and in your last semester you turn your graduation project into a company. Students will graduate to have their own business!
I imagine that if this project is implemented in other Arab countries, it’ll be a success, too.
I recently made a video about a technology that its main purpose is to serve pilgrims.
Last night, I flew to Jeddah then got
transported to Makkah with a car.
Do you see this container?
This container contains lots of technologies that I can’t discuss right now. But what is the purpose of this container? 🤔
This container is located in Makkah near the Haram Mosque. In the pilgrimage season, Makkah becomes
absolutely crowded with millions of pilgrims. It is a massive challenge to make all of these pilgrims connected the internet at the same time. If a slight problem happens with the network, the container will take over without a slight network drop. It is mind blowing.
The network in Makkah can serve up to 7m users, to allow pilgrims to stay connected.
There’s a trend now where pilgrims document their travel between the Two Holy Mosques with live videos. It is great that pilgrims are able to be served like this.
I visited this container and I was able
to look at the technologies in it.
STC has invested lots of money in these containers so that pilgrims won’t face a slight problem with the network.
May Allah bliss the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia it proactively serves all guests and pilgrims.
We’ve reached the part where we discuss your questions.
Let’s first discuss questions that we’ve received ; 🥶🥶😎
Mustafa said that the price of the device has dropped to $1000,
and that in the video, you mentioned the old price of the device❓️
Usually, we wrinting the review or the tech news, edit them and publish them. But sometimes, these articles take time to be ready. During this time, the price of this product has changed. 🤷♂️
In the next reviews, this mistake won’t happen again. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Replies to this arricles were really refreshing. These replies reflect how informed users about their data, security and privacy. 😍😍😍😍😍
However, some replies agreed to enable sideloading apps, which might be risky.Though, most replies refused this idea. I am surprised by countries that try to enforce companies to allow sideloading apps. Allowing sideloading on Android and iOS might compromise the security of these systems. However, Android allows users to sideload apps, but most users aren’t aware of its process. 👍👍👍
Thank your for your great replies.
We also received another comment on the Mac Studio video regarding Apple devices and how they are not ready for gaming. I guess Apple is working hard to change that. From the steps Apple is taking, like releasing toolkits for developers and collaboration with Kogima to tempt users for their ecosystem.
Apple is encouraging developers to
develop their games for Mac devices. This might change in the future.
The toolkit Apple provided for developers will enhance the performance of games on Mac devices.
Mac’s SonomaOS will enable gaming on Macs with the dedicated Game Mode feature.
We’ll keep answering your questions, so keep them coming.😊😉
This is the end of our Latest Tech News, See you later guys! 🤗
