Microsoft officially releases their HoloLens 2 in KSA.
Thamer Alharby, president of Microsoft Arabia has stated that
this device is directed towards businesses and industry.
To clarify, this device is a a virtual reality device, and it is
following technologies from Microsoft released in 2019.
The device recognises eye retina, weighs 500g, and it has an integrated computer. We’ve heard these specs before.
This special headset is directed towards businesses,
but the lighter version is meant for regular users.
Microsoft has also announced a new Xbox Series X device.
The device comes with a 1TB storage, and it costs less; 350$.
The device is ready for pre-orders.
They also announced a new Starfield themed controller.
There’s a new Xbox headphones, as well.
Imagine receiving a punch in VR, but feeling it in real life!
This has become possible using realistic bounce techniques.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is working
on a Lite version of their Vision Pro headset.
Do you remember when I told you that there
will be a Lite version of this headset?
It is expected to be called Apple Vision or Apple Vision Air.
According to Bloomberg, this headset will be available in 2025.
It might be earlier than that or even after 2025,
as it depends on the maturity of this product.
Investing 3500$ in this product isn’t something east to do.
This device is mostly directed towards businesses.
It is directed towards education, industry, training, and guidance.
These fields might benefit from the Vision Pro
headset and AR/VR technologies.
It is really important that Apple enriches the AR/VR technologies.
Apple is facing a problem in China, but this problem is kind of different.
The problem is between Apple and HUAWEI regarding the Vision Pro headset.
The reason is because the Vision Pro term
is owned by HUAWEI in China up until 2031.
HUAWEI uses the term with some of their smart
TVs and smart glasses among other devices.
If Apple wants to use the Vision Pro term in China,
then they must negotiate with HUAWEI first.
Apple faced a similar problem before with Preview
Technologies, where they had to pay them 60$ million.
The reason is because of the « iPad » term in China.
The right to the iPad term was owned by another company in China.

According to rumours, Apple is expected to expand
their 48MP cameras to all the iPhone 15 series.
This series is expected to be announced in September.
The rumours will intensify up until the event.
There will be lots of rumours from now up until the event.
However, Apple brings changes to their iPhones every 2 or 3 generations.
Apple might do this change to convince people to
upgrade from iPhone 12, 13 and 14 to the newer ones.
Twitter is facing a problem as they refuse to
pay Google for the Google Cloud services.
This might affect Twitter’s servers.
Twitter’s infrastructure is expected to move to another service from Google.
The contract between Google and Twitter will expire in
30 June, and they should make the transition smoothly.
Thus would impact the companyĂąâŹâąs ability to combat
spam and child sexual abuse material.
It’s been observed that Twitter platform
has been facing lots of problems lately.
Twitter is expanding their platform, and Elon Musk
promises profit for their content creators.
I will discuss Twitter’s finances later in this video.

Content creators are facing a problem with their
income from different social media platforms.
I am not talking about in-direct income such as adds and
sponsors, but rather about income from social platforms.
This problem is expanding as people’s habits change
regarding what they watch and where they watch it.
Users now prefer shorter and vertical videos, making
certain platforms more popular than others.
That’s why certain platforms need to change.
Youtube is working on expanding monthly income on their platform.
They started with lowering their criteria.
Making profit on Youtube now has become easier.
They promise that income from Shorts will be more.
Currently, income from Shorts is very limited.
10 million views could bring content creators 20 or 30 USD only.
This is a shocking but real number.
But it depends on your country and advertisers there.
However, the numbers are similar in US and the Arab World.
The reason is because in the US, there are more
users, and here there are less advertisers.
This balances out the equation.
Shorts on Youtube with millions of views can only receive
a certain amount of profit that can’t be exceeded.
The profit is designated by Youtube itself.
That’s why certain content creators open more than one account.
That’s how they can raise their income; by doing more work.
However, the habits of users change regarding what
they watch, which is a natural development.
This is normal, and that’s why certain platforms get
more users while others have less users.
Having account on different social media platforms is better
for content creators as their business will flourish.
And then they start to make content their
followers love in certain platforms.
However, this doesn’t apply to me as I started my
business before I started Youtube.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology announced
the Electronic Games Forum, in cooperation with Google and Ignite.
This forum will have influencers from the electronic games world.
The reason is to lay the foundations for the integrated prosperity
of this field, from KSA to the Arab world and the world.
100 Saudi game developers will be trained, 50 content creators and e-sports
players will be trained, in addition to training more than 250 students in this field.
The trainings will focus on digital entrepreneurship, application development
and best practices for marketing and publishing electronic games.
Electronic games on all platforms must be enriched.
It doesn’t make sense to develop computer
games if computers aren’t used for gaming!
That’s why developing games for mobiles is
better for the popularity of these games.
The reason is because most of us have smartphones.
That’s why it is better to develop games for popular platforms.
The registration has opened for this opportunity.
