The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is finally here đ, really, The design of the new device is getting more and more beautiful.
Hello guys, bring your coffe and welcome to this new article reviews a new smartphone, This is a quick review of the newly released Mate 40 Pro.
The device is made from aluminum with a metal frame.
The back glass comes with curved edges and the rear cameras are housed in a circular design.
The camera design is a continuation of the Mate 30 Pro camera design.
But this time, the device comes with a physical volume rockers.
Some users faced problems with the touch volume rockers of the previous generation.
But with this device, the physical buttons are back.
The device supports IP68 water and dust resistant, which we are used to with the Mate series.
It also comes with a curved display called Horizon display with 88 degrees of curviness.
Do you notice the placement of the buttons?

This was introduced in the previous generation and it is still available with this version.
The screen is very similar to the screen of the Mate 30 Pro.
But this difference this device is that it doesn’t come with a top notch.
Instead, the screen comes with a rectangular punch hole to house the front facing camera and sensors.
And for the first time, the screen supports 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sensitivity.
The high touch sensitivity will make the screen very responsive.
While the high refresh rate will make the screen smoother with supported content.
The cameras on this device are engineered in cooperation with Leica.
The first camera is the wide lens and it is called Ultra Vision Cine Camera.
And according to Huawei, this camera is a huge jump compared to other wide cameras.
And of course I’ll thoroughly test the cameras and the device.
Keep subscribed and enable the notification bell to get the latest news about technology.
The device also comes with a Periscope Optical Telephoto camera.
This camera supports hybrid zoom up to 10x and digital zoom up to 50x.
It also shoots 4K videos and supports XD Fusun Engine HDR Video.
This engine will help provide better videos and steadiness.
It uses algorithms to do it. The CPU is the Kirin 9000 with 5nm architecture build.
It supports NPU and 5G. The GPU is the Mali-G75.
The CPU is supposed to provide high performance, but I’ll thoroughly test and let you know the results.
The RAM is 8GB and the onboard storage is 256GB.
It supports either dual SIM cards or one SIM card and another Nano card.
The device runs Android 10 with EMUI 11 on top of it.
The UI supports MeeTime feature, which is being slowly adopted with Huawei devices.
Unfortunately, the device doesn’t support Google services.
But Huawei is investing in their own App Gallery store.
The App Gallery store contains local apps for each country.
The device supports LinkTurbo technology, which merges 2.4GHz and 5GHz together for faster WiFi connection.
It also supports 5G for higher download and upload speeds with minimal latency.
The device coms with an in-display fingerprint sensor with high responsiveness.
It also supports unlocking using face recognition with dedicated sensors and 3D technology. This makes this feature very secure.
The device comes with a 66w charger in the box.
This charger supports the SuperCharge technology, and shape of it is different in each country.
This charger has 16w more compared to the charger that comes with the Mate 30 Pro.We’ll experiment with this charger to check whether it is powerful or not.
The device supports SuperCharger wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
Pros:đ
the design is honestly beautiful. I wished that the smaller circle in the camera setup would say Huawei instead of Leica.
And this Aurora Silver color is amazing.
It also comes with a 66w charger, which provides very fast charging experience.
Cons:đ
the screen is beautiful but it only supports 90Hz refresh rate considering that other competitors offer higher speeds.
The full review will be available on the Magazin soon, We’ll review all aspects of this device.
See you later đ
