This laptop comes with 16GB of RAM, 2TB of storage and Intel’s 10th generation CPU. These HP Spectre devices, which I’ll be reviewing in this article come with great specs.

Hello guys, how are you, bring you coffee and welcome to this new review blog, Let’s review the HP Spectre x360 device:

It is a 2×1 device, It is equipped with Intel’s 10th gen CPU, This CPU provides high performance with sufficient power consumption compared to older generations.

10th gen CPU is the latest CPUs from Intel in 2020, The device is directed for business people and those who like lightweight devices. You can use the device in many ways, for example, tent mode, tablet mode, vertical or horizontal modes.

The laptop comes with a very thin design, It weighs 1.3kg. It is made from aluminum. There’s an HP’s logo in the middle of the back. The corners of the device come with Gem Cut Design.

The left corner contains the power button, and the right corner contains a USB-C port. It is a very cool design from HP. The laptop comes with a backlit keyboard, and you can adjust the brightness of it.

It comes with a fingerprint sensor next to the keyboard, and its responsiveness is good. The touchpad comes in a rectangular design.

It supports multi-gestures and it’s responsiveness is good. The screen supports touch input and is covered by corning gorilla glass NBT.

This protection layer is design for laptops that support touch input. The screen is 13.3 IPS LCD and it’s called BrightView. It comes with Micro-Edge WLED technology.

The screen resolution is 1920×1080 FHD. It supports SRGB colors with 100%. It also comes with 400nits brightness. Like I mentioned before, the laptop comes with Intel’s 10th gen IceLake CPU.

What’s great about these CPUs is that they come with 10nm build. Which means the CPU will consume less energy, more powerful performance and AI support.

The CPU is called i7-1065G7 with 4 cores and 8 threads. It comes with 1.3GHz frequency, and it could reach up to 3.9GHz using Turbo-Boost technology.

The GPU is the integrated Intel Iris Plus Graphics. The RAM is 16GB LPDDR4, which is supported on this device because of the 10th gen CPU.

These RAMs provide better speeds and less power consumption. The onboard storage is 2TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. It’s 17 times more quicker than the 5400 RPM hard disks.

In Geekbench 5, the CPU scored 1003 points for single core and 4162 points for multicores. Here’s where the CPU performance is ranked among other competitors.

In 3DMark app, the device scored 935 points in Time Spy test, Here’s where the CPU performance is ranked among other competitors.

The laptop runs Window 10 Home, and it supports lots of HP apps like HP Command to adjust the performance of it while using it.

It also lets you assign internet speeds for certain apps, The front facing camera is located at the top of the screen. It provides 720p videos, which is good. It supports HP TrueVision HD IR Privacy technology, It supports Windows Hello feature, where the device recognizes your face and unlocks.

This is done using the front facing sensors, The camera also supports Webcam Kill Switch feature. This means that the camera comes with a physical button to turn it on/off for more privacy.

You don’t need to use a sticker to hide the camera anymore. The laptop comes with dual speakers that are tuned by Bang \u0026 Olufsen.

They support HP Audio 2.0 technology, And after experimenting with it, the audio was acceptable. The device also supports WiFi 6 AX 201 2×2 technology, which provides high download and upload speeds.

It also provides less ping and less power consumption when it comes to WiFi. But your router should also support WiFi 6 for this feature to work.

The device supports bluetooth 5, The laptop comes with 2x USB 3.1 Gen 2 USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 support and 40GBps speed. The same port also supports Display port 1.4.

You can use these two ports with lots of things; transfer data with high speed, external screen and so on. The device also comes with a USB 3.1 Gen 1 USB A port, 3.5mm headphone jack and a Micro SD card port.

The battery lasts up to 22 hours, but it depends on your usage, 22 hours is really a difficult thing to apply.

The device comes with a 65w charger, and it charges the battery from 0% up to 50% in 30 minutes. The box contains a USB-C charger and a leather case. Specter devices are very elegant.

The box content might be different in other regions, It also comes with another version with 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD.The other specs and the identical.

Pros:

it is lightweight, and the build quality is excellent. It comes with 10th gen Intel CPU, which is considered an extended investment.

The onboard storage is 2TB and it’s very fast. The battery performance is excellent, especially that it supports fast charging using the USB-C port.

Cons:

sometimes, the fan noise is high, but using the HP command app, you can use the silent mode for less noise.

The speakers don’t provide the best sound experience. But if you care about audio, you can connect headphones using the bluetooth 5 to get the best audio experience.
