The device comes with a back and frame made from metal. And before I start, let me tell you that this device doesn’t come with the highest specs. If you keep reading, you’ll know the performance of this device in photography and other tasks.
Let’s me start with the design:đ
it comes with a rear square that houses the rear cameras. IN the middle of the back there is a fingerprint sensor. The front is mostly a screen. There’s a punch hole, too, to house the front facing camera.
The thickness of the device is 8mm. It doesn’t come with the latest CPU as it comes with the Snapdragon 765G CPU. It is a mid-range CPU, but it is fully compatible and supported by Google. It’ll offer a satisfactory performance.

PUBG game started with the high settings with good smoothness. The battery size is 4080mAh, and it supports fast charging with 18W.
The charger comes in the box. It charges from 0% to 41% in 30 minutes. It also supports Qi wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. This charger is compatible with the US market since this device isn’t available in our region. I bought it from there.
The screen size is 6 with FHD+ 2340×1080 resolution. The screen is OLED, it’s aspect ratio is 19.5:9, It comes with 432ppi density, It supports HDR and 90Hz refresh rate. The high refresh rate will make the experience smoother. It noticed the high refresh rate with supported games.

Pixel 5 comes with dual rear cameras, the first is 12.2MP with Dual Pixel and Autofocus support. The second camera is the 16MP Ultra wide lens. The front facing camera is 8MP. The cameras come with a dual Flash LED. It uses algorithms to enhance the photography experience.
Let me now discuss the photography experience. The photos taken by the main cameras are beautiful. They have excellent details and quality. The reason is due to the processing system and algorithms.
The colors are saturated and feel natural. The details of the Ultra Wide camera are similar to the main camera. But there are minor differences in colors.
In general, the outcome is satisfactory. The device supports 2x optical zoom. And the results are excellent. It also supports 7x zoom but it uses software, which means the quality will degrade a little, but still acceptable. By the wya, when using the camera, a scale icon will automatically appear on the viewfinder.
This new feature arrived with the latest software update. This scale will help make photos balanced to appear better.
Let me now discuss portrait photos. The outcome is excellent. The isolation is balanced and very good. The isolation could a little degrade sometimes, though. And in some cases, it is not even noticeable.,The details are clear and the colors are natural.
The device shoots videos with 4K@60fps, It offers good and satisfactory quality with saturated colors and the stabalization performance is excellent.,It also supports slo-mo videos with 1080p@120fps. The front facing camera offers very good quality and details.

The colors are natural and satisfactory. Front facing camera portrait offers very good quality and details. The isolation is good, but it could degrade in some circumstances.
In general, the results are satisfactory. The test of the video, but there’s a lot of light here and There’s no light here! but the camera still offers good quality, which is good. The RAM is 8GB and the onboard storage is 128GB. It supports a physical SIM card and another eSIM. But it doesn’t support a Micro SD card slot. It runs Stock Android 11, and it regularly receives updates.
This OS is known for its smoothness and ease of use. The OS receives regular updates as I mentioned before. It also receives security updates regularly.
The device comes with a fingerprint sensor placed on the back of the device. And after experimenting with it, it offers excellent smoothness and responsiveness. The device supports dual band WiFi and bluetooth. It also supports NFC and is compatible with Mada Pay.
The content of the box are the charger, charging cable, and a USB A to USB-C adapter. The device comes in black and sorta sage (green) colors. It costs 699 USD, It is currently unavailable in all markets, If you want to buy it, you’ll have to ship it from abroad and pay taxes on top of the price.
Pros:đ
the design is beautiful and the build material is good quality. The screen is also beautiful and supports 90Hz refresh rate.
The gaming and battery performance is good, and it supports fast charging. It is fully supported from Google and receives frequent updates.
Cons:đ
it supports eSIM, but I wished it supported dual SIM cards.
It also doesn’t support an SD card slot. Also, we’re used to these device to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. But it looks like Google couldn’t pull 90Hz and an in-display fingerprint sensor off. It is also not officially available in some region like Afrika and asia, , which might make some users hesitate to buy it.
If you love Google and Android, then this device will actually look and perform like a premium device. Its performance is satisfactory and excellent.
If you don’t tasks, and only for photos, then this device takes excellent photos. It competes with the most premium devices.
But if you love iOS, no need to buy this device.đ
