Samsung has announced their new devices, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5, in this review, I’ll summarize the latest in these devices.

Let’s start with the Z Flip 5: And by the way, while this review is being published, I am in South Korea to cover the event.

Let’s start. The device now comes with a bigger 3.4″ external display. With this screen, you can do all the things you want to do without having to open it to use the 6.7″ internal screen. The device comes with dual 12MP cameras, one is the Ultra Wide and the other is the main camera. Both cameras now offer better photo processing. And the device now comes with the SD 8 Gen 2 CPU.

This means better photography and overall camera performance and multitasking. The storage now starts from 256GB up to 512GB. There’s no 128GB option anymore.

The device comes with 4 main colors: Graphite, Cream, Lavender and the new Mint color. The device comes with a 6.7″ internal screen called Dynamic AMOLED 2X with FHD+ resolution and Dynamic 120Hz refresh rate. This means better battery performance and better viewing experience. Having a new CPU means the battery, which is 3700mAh will be better. The device supports IPX5 water resistant. And it now comes with a Zero Gap hinge.

This means that when the device is closed, there’s zero gap between the screens, resulting in less accumulated dust. The screen now has a 40% less crease in the middle. However, if you look closely for it, you’ll find it.

The Z Fold 5 also comes with new technologies, such as the CPU, it now comes with the SD 8 Gen 2 CPU, it is the same CPU as the S23 Ultra, it comes with the same battery size, 3 rear cameras: main 50MP, Ultra Wide 12MP and zoom 10MP with 3x optical zoom.

The front facing camera is under the display, and it is still 4MP. There’s also an external 10MP front facing camera with 85 field of view. Though the device is new, but it doesn’t come with lots of changes. The main changes are the CPU and the new S Pen.

The S Pen is now thinner, and the device supports a protection cover that has a slot to store the S Pen in it. The cover comes with different colors.

The Z Fold 5 now comes with the same Zero Gap hinge, which I’ll fully discuss in the full review. This new hinge allows for a zero gap when the device is closed.

The device comes with 3 colors: Phantom Black, Beige, and the new Ice Blue. Follow me for more details about the changes, performance and differences with these new devices.

Samsung also announced their new Galaxy Tab S9, S9+ and S9 Ultra. The Ultra comes with IP68 support and a 11200mAh battery. It also comes with the new SD 8 Gen 2 CPU. Samsung has included their latest technologies in this tablet.

They also announced that later this year, they’ll announce the new S9 FE and FE Plus tablets. They also announced their new Galaxy Watch 6 series, which consists of the Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic versions.

These new watches bring new changes to the bands, among lots of other changes. This has been my first impression video of these products.

Do you think Samsung brought changes to these new devices?

What changes have you wished for to come to these devices?

The full review are coming soon, I’d like to compare these foldable devices with other foldables. There are lots of foldables now in the market.

Why wouldn’t we compare them?

Let me know what do you think in the comment section. This is the end of this fast review, here from Seoul South Korea.

See you later.
