Should i buy the iPhone 12 instead of iPhone 11? Should I upgrade or not?

Are these new iPhones worth it or not?

I want to be honest with you about the new iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro.

Let me tell you why you should buy them and why you shouldn’t! and Honestly, I don’t care whether Apple likes this article or not!

I respect and appreciate Apple. I have no problem with them, I have to tell you two things:

the first thing is, why you should buy them, and the second is why you shouldn’t buy them.

Hello guys, today we dring coffee together! Let me start: ☕

The design is really beautiful, whether it is the regular iPhone 12 or the Pro version.

The iPhone 12 design is way more beautiful than the design of previous iPhones, I always say this, but it reminds me of the iPhone 5 design.

Since the iPad Pro 2018 debuted, I always wanted a iPhone with the same design.

The design with the form factor give the device an elegant look, Even the colors are very beautiful.

This could be a reason to buy one of the new iPhones, And finally, the iPhones support 5G.

If you live in a neighborhood with a 5G network, then this iPhone is the only iPhone that supports 5G.

It is also important to know Apple’s policy regarding 5G on both SIM cards, It is available on their website. Check it.

Uploading and downloading files is faster on 5G than on 4G networks.

This is also a good reason to upgrade to this device.

I am bored of the design of the older iPhones. They’ve been the same since iPhone 6 with curved frames, but the new iPhone comes with a new design.

If you are, like me, pay attention to the resolution, then the screen of the iPhone 12 is better than the screen on the iPhone 11.

This screen is actually better than all the screens of previous iPhones.

The screen of the iPhone 12 series has high resolution and density.

The cameras of the iPhone 12 Pro supports new photography features such as Dolby Vision and ProRaw, and they’ll be available at the end of the year.

It supports zoom and comes with the LiDAR sensor, which helps with AR.

Other than that, these cameras are the same as the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, But the specs of these cameras provide better performance.

If you’re a pro photographer, then these cameras might help you.

And by a pro photographer, I mean a professional who uses the cameras of this device along with other pro apps.

Apps like Snapchat, Instagram are considered pro apps.

Those professionals who use the cameras to shoot professional photos and videos.

In my opinion, these are the logical reasons to upgrade to the new iPhones.

But there are reasons why not to buy these devices, too, but what are they?

iOS has been great since iPhone 6s and later, Apple supports their devices for up to 6 years.

If you have iPhone 6s, then you can still download iOS 14 and enjoy all the new features it comes with, You can use the new icons, widgets and so on.

There are new features available only on newer iPhones, but you might not need it, But iOS 14 is available on lots of other iPhones.

So, why would you upgrade your device if the software experience is the same?

Your device is old and slow now, and you need a newer device. How could you solve this problem?

For example, you can replace the battery of the device from an authorized shop.

Once the battery is changed, the device will be faster and better to use.

According to Apple, the battery degrades with time, which is normal.

And once the battery is degraded, the CPU will not be able to provide the same speed.

Changing the battery will give your device a boost in performance and it’ll last longer.

Snapchat experience on this device is the same as on other iPhones.

The only difference is the screen size, But AR on Snapchat will be better on newer iPhones.

There will be a difference in performance with low light, but it’s not siginifcan on either Snapchat or Instagram.

But if you use it for photos, then go back to the photography section and why you should buy it.

The app experience on most apps are the same.

You shouldn’t buy a new device because of the bigger onboard storage.

You could buy a 2TB of iCloud storage or use a local external hard drive to store your files.

Or you could simply delete the photos and videos that you don’t need anymore.

If you delete older files, you’ll gain more storage space.

And the most important reason why you shouldn’t buy them is if you have the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro.

These devices are only 1 year old, and there’s no reason to change them.

I always say to skip a generation to enjoy the new devices.

Do it to enjoy the design change and performance boost.

But your investment with the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro is new and correct.

It is still new. Maybe iPhone 13 or 14 could be a great option for you and worth upgrading.

iPhone 13 or 14 could come with an in-display fingerprint sensor or more powerful parts.

Your devices are great. You can wait to upgrade them.

New devices adoption has become limited as our community is reasonable and aware.

There are still users who upgrade annually, but most users don’t upgrade annually and skip a generation.

You can instead change the cover or buy new accessories, You could do anything with the money instead of upgrading.

Investing in iPhones isn’t the same as before.

With previous devices, the box contains the headphones, charger and charing cable, which is what we’re used to.

But the box of the new iPhone contains the device and the charging cable, and you have to separately by the headphones and charger.

The price is too much, right? It is not logical to pay this amount of money for a new device if you have the previous or even 2 years old iPhone.

The new iPhone 12 indeed comes with a beautiful design, but the new specs and features are limited, and they’re also directed to limited users.

Hopefully, I’ll compare the iPhone 12, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max and Mini with other Samsung and Huawei devices.

I’ll also compare this generation of iPhones and the previous generation, If you want to me compare this generation with even more previous generation, let me know and I’ll gladly do it.

These articles are educational. I don’t want you to buy new devices for the sake of buying!

Hopefully, this article is informative for you.

See you later.😉
