Galaxy M11 Galaxy A32 5G

đ· We’ve started to see cheap devices from Samsung with 5G support. And the M series is developing. In this review, I’ll review two devices, one is A32, other is M 11, Both are from Samsung and from two different categories. I should differentiate between them and explain the pros and cons of each device.
I decided to bring these devices to review them and show the differences between them to make easier for you to decide. You can choose between either one, but that doesn’t mean that they’re the only choices. There are other choices available. But since they’ve just been released, I decided to review them and show the full specs and features. But before I start, let me remind you bring your coffe man! Let’s start.
I’ll start with the bigger one, which is the A32 5G device. with it, you’ll get 5G technology.
Honestly, the design is beautiful and the colors are amazing. But how does it perform?
I’ll start with the design. The device is made from plastic. The cameras cameras come with a vertical d design and they protrude a little. But it doesn’t comes with a housing, which gives the device a beautiful look.
The front is mostly a screen, and comes with a teardrop notch to house the .front facing camera. The thickness of the device is 9.1mm, which means it’s a bit thick. It weighs 2.5g. It is not that heavy, but it still! The device doesn’t come with a Snapdragon CPU, rather, it comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 720 CPI. The details are shown on the screen. It comes with 8 cores and 7nm architecture build.
This CPU from MediaTek supports 5G. The GPU is the Mali-G57.
In Geekbench 5, the CPU scored 489 points for the single core and 1599 points for multicores. Here’s where the CPU performance is ranked among other competitors. Have you noticed the difference?
Here’s a comparison between it and the A52 device, which I’ve reviewed recently. What do you think of this comparison?
There’s no huge difference between them. Considering the other specs, is this device good for gaming? Let’s find out.
PUBG game started with high settings and with good smoothness. The device supports a feature called Game Booster to the gaming experience and helps take screenshot and videos while gaming.
I wasn’t expecting this performance from a device that costs 293 USD. Which is something good, but it doesn’t come with a big battery, the battery on this device is 5000mAh. It is big for this category, though. It is even bigger than the battery of the A52 5G device.
How is that possible? From a cheaper category, yet comes with better specs?
There’s more about this device. The battery is 5000mAh, and it supports charging with 15W. t charges from 0% to 100% in 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Galaxy M11 Galaxy A32 5G
đ· The screen size is 6.5 with HD+ resolution. It is a TFT panel. It is not Super AMOLED, and that’s probably why the device is cheap., But I don’t think it’ll make a huge difference for you. Ok, here’s a clip from two different screens.
One from a Super AMOLED panel and the other is from a TFT panel.Do you notice any difference?
It is up to you to decide. The screen comes with 20:9 aspect ratio, and supports 60Hz refresh rate
Which is something logical for this category. The A52 screen, however, supports 120Hz refresh rate. Which makes a huge differences. But if doesn’t make any difference for you, then a 60Hz panel is a good choice, considering the money you’ll be saving.
The device comes with 4 rear cameras, and they are as follows:
The main is the wide 48MP cameras. The second is the 8MP Ultra sensor with 123 degrees of view. The third is the 5MP Macro lens. The fourth is the 2MP Depth sensor.
The front facing camera is 13MP. The main camera offers good details, acceptable light, saturated yet cold colors. In general, it does its job. The Ultra Wide camera offers 123 degrees of view.
The details it offers are somehow acceptable. In some cases, the details are blurry. Colors here are deeper and warmer. It supports 10x digital zoom using the main camera.
The quality will degrade since it uses software. In portrait photos, the details and isolation are acceptable.
Sometimes, the results depend on different circumstances. It shoots 4K@30fps videos. Which is something great for this category to support such a feature. The front facing camera provides good results, and the colors are warm.
In portrait, it offers acceptable results, with variable isolation. In general, it does its job.
The RAM is 6GB and the onboard storage is 128GB. It supports 2 SIM cards or in SIM card and an SD card.
Previous generations of A series used to support 2 SIM cards and an SD card together. And the third generation of this phone doesn’t support it. It either supports 2 SIM cards or one SIM card and SD card. It is not a good thing.
The device runs Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top of it. I previously made a review about the UI. The UI fully supports Google services.
The device supports bluetooth 5 and dual band WiFi. It also supports payments app that use NFC. The device comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button. It offers high responsiveness. It supports unlocking using the front facing camera but it doesn’t have dedicated 3D sensors.
As usual, I don’t advise using it since it is not safe. The content of the box are: clear cover, charging cable and a fast charger. The content varies from a region to another. The current price of the device is 293 USD, 247 Euros.
I wished that this device would support dual SIM cards and an SD card. This would’ve been way better. There’s a device from Lenovo that supports 3 SIM cards and an SD card together. It’s sad that a big company like Samsung doesn’t add this feature to their affordable devices.
The screen isn’t that great, but it does its job. They were able to include a good screen, despite that it is a TFT panel. This time I mentioned the cons firsts. I’ll discuss the pros now:
The design is actually beautiful. Despite that the built material isn’t of high quality. The OS experience was good and the gaming performance is very good. This device with this price, 5G support and good gaming experience is vey good for me. If the games change to medium settings, the experience would be way better. It comes with a 5000mAh battery, and it is bigger than the battery of devices like the A52 and A72.
đ· You will noticed that the box lacks few things?đ
đ· The Koreans follow the Americans’ approach, while some Chinese follow the same thing and others don’t.đ„Ž
Let me now discuss a device from the M11 series: This series was basically targeted to India. But since 2 years ago, the devices have been officially available in all markets. not all of them! hhhh, It started as an experiment in 2019, but not it is officially available in many markets.
There are lots of series from Samsung available in all marketst. There are M series, A series, S series and even J series. Even though I expect that the J series won’t be available in market in the future. The M series is very affordable. It is as affordable as Xiaomi devices. It comes with a good price and good specs. The current price of this device is 133 USD, 112.50 Euro.
It comes with a fingerprint sensor mounted on the back of the device. I’ll discuss its build quality later. The design is simple and beautiful. It is made from plastic and it’s a logical thing with this price range.
The back is matte and comes with a purple color. The cameras come with a vertical design. The front is mostly a screen, and it comes with a circular punch hole to house the .front facing camera.
Samsung calls this screen Infinity-O Display because of the shape of the front facing camera. The thickness of the device is 9mm, which is a bit thick. It weighs 197g.
The device comes with the Snapdragon 450 CPU with 14nm architecture build. It’s designed for entry level devices. The GPU is the Adreno 506.
In Geekbench 5, the CPU scored 130 points for the single core and 491 points for multicores. It’s not much.
Here’s where the CPU performance is ranked among other competitors. PUBG games started with medium settings and with acceptable smoothness. It’s great that we didn’t have to lower the settings of the game.
The battery is 5000mAh, and it supports fast charging with 15W. It charges from 0% to 100% in 2 hours and 15 minutes.
The screen size is 6.4 with HD+ resolution. The screen is PLS TFT LCD. It comes with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and supports 60Hz refresh rate. It’s logical for this category.
The device comes with 3 rear cameras; 13MP Wide, 5MP Ultra Wide and 2MP for depth. The front facing camera is 8MP.
The main camera provides acceptable details and light withdrawing is normal. The Ultra Wide cameras provides wide degree of view. The details are acceptable and the colors are a bit warm. It supports 8x digital zoom using the main cameras, but the quality degrades since it uses software.
In portrait, the quality varies depending on the light and mode. It shoots 1080p@30fps videos. The quality is acceptable but the videos are a bit shaky. The front facing camera offers acceptable results, too. But the skin is bit beautified.
In portrait mode, the results are acceptable. The isolation varies, though, but it does its job. The RAM is 3GB and the onboard storage is 32GB. It supports 2 SIM cards and an SD. card.
A device that costs 133 USD supports dual SIM cards and an SD card together.
đ· What should I do now?
The device runs Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top of it. This version of UI is very good. The device supports bluetooth 4.2 but doesn’t support NFC. You won’t be able to use to pay using NFC.
The device comes with a rear fingerprint sensor, and it offers good responsiveness. You can depend on it. It supports unlocking using the front facing camera, but it is not safe and don’t depend on it.
The content of the boxL charging cable, charger and headphones. The box doesn’t include a protection cover. The content varies from a region to another.
The current price of the device is 133 USD.
I’ll discuss the pros and cons, okay? hhhh
Pros:đ·
The battery is 5000mAh. If offers good to acceptable performance in gaming. The screen comes with a circular punch hole for the front facing camera. The screen does its job.
Cons:đ·
The gaming performance isn’t that great. It is good, but you can’t depend on it to give you great performance. The build quality isn’t that high.
Samsung were supposed to included a protection cover in the box.
At least, you’re used to this with devices from the entry-level category to protect your investment. This has been my review of both of these devices to make it easier for you to choose one of them.
