Review 158: 20.02.2022 at 00:00 am by OTTO.
Yes, The Note is back! This device comes with lots of long-waited enhancements, it again supports 45W fast charging, and there’s an app that is fully supported with this Note 22. Of course you know which app I am talking about, and I’ll discuss the details in this review.
✌ Peace be upon you all, This is a quick review of these recently released devices. Let me start with the S22 5G device. Then I’ll discuss the S22+ 5G device. And then I’ll discuss the S22 Ultra 5G. But I’ll call it the new Note:

It comes with a slot for the integrated S Pen and more powerful cameras, it also supports different photography modes, and a better battery experience, whether with longevity or changing speed. The device also fully supports Snapchat.
Has Snapchat’s performance become better on Android? 🤔
The design of the S22 Ultra is different than the other devices from the series, specially the rear camera design. The S22 and S22+ come with the same camera design as the previous generation.
This is the difference between the new S22 Ultra and the S21 Ultra. This is the difference between the S22 Ultra and the Note 10 Plus. And here’s the difference between the S22 Ultra and the Note 9 and 8.
The design of the new device is beautiful, but I’ll need to get used to the new rear camera design. All devices support IP68 water and dust resistant.
Let me now discuss the screen differences. But first, let me say that all devices comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU. Most regions will get this CPU, including our region. Only few regions will get the new Exynos 2200 CPU. The CPU is built using 4nm architecture, which means it offers better performance and energy consumption.
The device runs Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top of it. All the devices come with the Dynamic AMOLED 2X screens. The S22 comes with a 6.1″ FHD+ screen with 425ppi density. The S22+ comes with a 6.6″ FHD+ screen with 393ppi density.
All of them support 120Hz refresh rate. The S22 Ultra comes with a 6.8″ QHD+ screen with 500ppi density, and it supports 120Hz refresh rate. This high refresh rate has gotten new features. This new device supports dynamic refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz instead of 10Hz to 120Hz. This means better battery savings.
The S22 Ultra starts with a 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also comes with a 12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage. The S22 and S22+ come with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The S22 Ultra comes with a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
The Plus version also supports this 2nd Gen charing speed.
According to Samsung, the reason for the higher charging speed is to top-up the battery faster. But we’ll have to test it in the upcoming reviews, The S22+ comes with a 4500mAh battery. While the S22 comes with a 3700mAh battery. All devices support wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, and I’ll discuss these technologies in the review.
The S22 Ultra comes with a way more advanced cameras. The front facing camera is 40MP and supports autofocus. The main rear camera is 108MP and it supports autofocus and Live Pixel. The second is the 12MP Ultra Wide camera. The third is the 10MP Telephoto camera. The fourth is another periscope camera, it also comes with a ToF sensor for better accuracy.

Zooming in using the main 108MP on the S21 Ultra was a bad experience. But I was shocked with how green the outcome is with the main camera.
Most of the features of the S22 Ultra cameras are great for Snapchat. For example, night mode has become way better than before. Video frequency is now adaptive to the light. The less light there is, the less the frequency will become and vise versa.

The S22 and S22+ come with the same cameras. The main camera is 50MP, the Ultra Wide camera is 12MP and the Telephoto camera is 10MP. The front facing camera on both devices is 10MP.
Let me now go back to the S22 Ultra. The included S Pen comes with a higher response rate; 2ms. It feels like a real pen. All devices come with powerful hardware. The full review is coming. Keep visiting us to find out more about these devices. I’ll be working on a number of reviews for the I’ll compare this device with the iPhone, S21 Ultra, Note 20 and other devices. All devices support the DEX technology.
Unfortunately, the whole series doesn’t support an SD Card. But the devices support newer technologies like WiFi 6e and 5G. All devices support stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos technology. When it comes to colors, all devices come with different colors. The S22 Ultra comes with 4 colors: phantom black, phantom white and green, which are also available with all other devices. The fourth exclusive color is the Burgundy.
The S22 and S22+ come with an exclusive Rose Gold color. Each device comes with 4 colors. But just like last year, Samsung will offer exclusive colors if you buy the device from the online store. With the launch of this new series, Samsung also released new accessories.
For example, there’s a cover that comes with a back handle similar to the Z Flip 3’s cover. There’s also a clear cover that also comes with a back handle that you can changes its color for the S22+. There’s also a cover that has a front cut to show the time. There’s also another cover with a back LEDs that shows the time.
Samsung also announced 3 different tablets; Tab S8, S8 Plus and S8 Ultra. The Ultra comes with an amazing and big screen. But I’ll have to review it first to know how great it is.
Samsung also announced a new Dual Charger that allows you to charge a phone and smartwatch or other accessories. This wireless charger supports fast charging, too. This has been my review of the new Samsung devices. I’ll discuss the full details of these devices in the full review. I’ll also compare it with other devices.
Stay tuned for more details.
See you later.😍✌
