🤡 How to use SharePlay on Apple devices❓ Apple brings Face ID to Mac computers within two years❗ And iPhone 14 Pro may come with a titanium body❗

Review 204: 26.07.2021 at 08:00 pm

Hello guys, 😍 how are you today? SharePlay was included in the new Facetime update in iOS 15, among other new features of the app.

The feature allows you to watch content with your friends via Facetime using supported applications.

Apple promises to expand SharePlay-enabled apps to include a range of content streaming services such as Tik Tok, HBO Max and Disney Plus.

However, YouTube and Netflix have not yet announced that they will allow SharePlay, and we are expected to see them by the end of the year.

Steps to use SharePlay with iOS 15:

In order to use this feature, your phone must be iOS 15, and this applies to all participants in this conversation or with whom you want to view content.

You can follow these steps to use it:

Go to the Facetime app and start a video call through the app. The feature works with both individual and group video calls. And when you start the call, minimize its window and return to the main interface, this makes the application work in PiP mode.

Then head over to an app that supports SharePlay, which is currently the Apple TV and Apple Music app. Then play any series or content you want to watch on the app or a music track. And you can control the content you watch via the main app just as you normally would.

Share content across Mac computers:

You can also share content and use the SharePlay feature across Mac computers running macOS Monterey. All chat participants must be using a Monterey Mac or iOS 15.

The feature works on Mac computers in a similar way to iOS 15 phones, where you must start a Facetime conversation, whether it’s an individual or a group. Then go to the content you want to watch and start using it.

New Features in Facetime:

Apple introduces a set of new features in the Facetime application to improve the experience of users. Apple allowed users of Android and Windows devices to access Facetime servers and participate in conversations.

The company has also added surround sound to Facetime chats to improve audio quality.

😇 and!….

🕷 In his Power On newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman believes that Apple plans to bring Face ID to the Mac within two years.

Gorman notes that even the regular iPhone SE and iPad can get Face ID. The only reason Apple isn’t doing this now is to cut costs while still providing security.

He said, « I believe the company’s ultimate objective is to incorporate Face ID in all of its main products, » he added. Apple would have terminated Touch ID if it had been feasible. However, for a variety of reasons, this technology had to survive, It’s a cheaper alternative via the iPhone SE and iPads that allows Apple to cut costs while still providing security. While the screens are too thin across Mac laptops to implement the necessary depth sensor.

Gorman believes that the in-display camera helps differentiate more expensive Apple devices by eliminating the top notch.

According to trusted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone is expected to be redesigned for 2022, ditching the notch in favor of a punch-hole design.

Kuo says Apple plans to start by replacing the existing notch design introduced with the iPhone X with a new perforated iPhone screen design that looks similar to what Samsung uses for its flagship Galaxy phones.

Coe and Gorman believe that such things will not come in 2021, but rather as close to 2022.

Mark Gorman also wrote in his newsletter: I expect that to change. It won’t happen this year, but I bet Face ID on Mac is coming in a couple of years. I expect all iPhones and iPads to migrate to Face ID during this time frame as well.

Apple brings Face ID to its devices:

The journalist added: The camera built into the screen helps distinguish the more expensive Apple devices by eliminating the top notch. The facial recognition sensor gives the company two main advantages: security and augmented reality. Whereas, Touch ID only provides security.

It is noteworthy that this is not the first time that information has emerged about Apple’s intention to bring Face ID to Mac devices. In the beta version of macOS Big Sur, references to the TrueDepth camera appeared across the system, indicating that the company is working on introducing facial recognition to its computers.

The researchers also found a new addition via macOS Big Sur beta 3 with codes intended to support PearlCamera. It is the internal code name Apple uses for the TrueDepth camera and Face ID. Which was first revealed with the iPhone X leaks in 2017.

Codes like FaceDetect and BioCapture in this add-on also suggested that Apple is preparing macOS to work with Face ID. This is because these icons are similar to those used by iOS. Obviously, this Face ID extension is designed for macOS.

So, iPhone 14 Pro may come with a titanium body?😍

🕷 Look, A new report says we can expect to see the first iPhone made with a titanium chassis next year, the cutting-edge material planned for at least one of the Pro models.

JP Morgan Chase says the iPhone 14 Pro is made of titanium alloy, while other models have a stainless steel or aluminum body.

According to the latest report by JPMorgan Chase, Apple is releasing the iPhone 14 series in the second half of 2022, and the specification upgrade is larger than that of the iPhone 13 series.

The iPhone 14 Pro body is said to be made of titanium alloy and to be supplied exclusively by Foxconn.

In addition, other models in the iPhone 14 series use aluminum alloy and stainless steel frames.

The stainless steel frames are supplied by Foxconn and Jabli. Lansi and Luxshare are applying for certification. While aluminum alloy frames are supplied by Lansi and Jabli.

Typical titanium alloys blend the material with vanadium, chromium, nickel and aluminium. The material is three to four times stronger than stainless steel, so less metal can be used, which could make the phone lighter.

Titanium is matte in appearance. But the company received a patent earlier this year in order to give the metal a semi-gloss appearance.

iPhone 14 may come with a titanium body:

The patent is a technical patent and is intended to achieve the desired appearance. Apple says the process is better at masking defects in the metal while providing better protection.

And the iPhone’s titanium body wouldn’t come as a surprise, as Apple used the material for the current Apple Watch, rather than the ceramic case previously offered (and solid gold before that).

There were a number of other reports about the phone lineup for next year. Renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said in March that the biggest visual change would be the company’s abandonment of the notch in favor of a punch-hole screen design.

It could also mean moving things like the Face ID sensors to a thinner bezel if Apple wants to keep that feature. That’s although it also works on the Touch ID feature built into the bottom of the screen, which may replace it.

It has also been suggested that 2022 will be the year Apple makes the switch to a completely portless design. It removes the Lightning port and instead relies on MagSafe charging.

See you soon on the next review.👍😍
