Microsoft offers a program to test the beta features of its Xbox gaming platform before it reaches all users, and it calls this program Xbox Insider.
The Xbox Insider program is divided into a set of different episodes that allow users to access different features.
Microsoft is keeping the Alpha and Alpha Skip loops for premium users. As a result, you can only access it via special invitations from Microsoft.
By installing the Xbox Insider Hub app and going to Xbox Insider, you get early access with a look at the latest features and content across Xbox.
You can also gain experience points by completing tasks and surveys, and provide hands-on feedback to engineering teams for new features and products.
Join the Xbox Insider Program
You can join the test program in more than one way, as you can join it via the game platform itself or Windows.
And you need to download the Xbox Insider Hub app from the Microsoft Store on Xbox or Windows. But if you are using a Windows device, you have to use the same Xbox account.
This method guarantees that you will join the program. But without getting into the Alpha or Skip Alpha episodes.
Microsoft has started sending out a survey for Xbox Insider subscribers to get into the Alpha ring. However, this survey does not guarantee entry into the Alpha Loop.
Microsoft says there are few invites for the Alpha episode. As a result, not everyone will get invitations.
You can access this survey by going to the Xbox Insider app on your device, and then the Activities section.
After that, you choose the available activities, choose to enter new episodes, and then the questionnaire appears to you.
And if you want to start using the new episode and take advantage of its features, you should head to the selection of previews within the app.
You should then choose Preview Xbox Updates, then select Manage Previews, and then choose the new episode you’ve invited.
And you should know that Xbox Insider is mainly for beta and testing features. As a result, you may encounter problems when updating, and you may also encounter some device performance issues. You must be at least 18 years old to register as an Xbox Insider.
