đ· Now, For photography lovers like a Jokerâđ yes, Canon has a dual fisheye lens for VR system đ„žđ€Ż

Canon has made an unexpected product announcement, unveiling a dual fisheye RF mount lens as part of the EOS VR system.
The lens intends to revolutionize VR and AR production by simplifying workflows compared to current VR capture methods while maintaining full-frame mirrorless camera quality.
The company’s flagship product is the $1,999 RF5.2mm F2.8 L dual-hand fisheye lens, which is created exclusively for use with the company’s 8K EOS R5.
The product offers two fish-eye lenses installed side by side. It is positioned at a distance of approximately 60 millimeters (2.4 in) to match the distance between the human pupil and provides a comfortable difference for virtual and augmented reality.
The Canon EOS R5, which was chosen for its ability to shoot 8K video, is compatible with the lens. It uses the 45-megapixel camera sensor to display two circular pictures while shooting.
It enables 190-degree capture, providing 180-degree 3D pictures or holograms for augmented reality or virtual reality applications with a resolution of up to 8192 x 4096 pixels.
The lens contains some uncommon characteristics, such as an Allen screw adjustment and a ring that focuses on two lenses at the same time. It allows you to fine-tune the focus of one lens to match the focus of the other.
Aside from that, you get features that you’d expect to see on a high-end Canon L RF. Controlling the glow, shadows, dust and water resistance, and an aperture range of F2.8 to F16 are just a few of the features.
Despite the odd appearance, the lens is fairly small and not much larger than a Canon 35mm F1.8 lens. Canon promises that VR and AR photo capture will be easier and more high-quality.
One part of the equation is the lens. Canon is working on a firmware upgrade for the R5 that will include new capabilities to help the lens and the EOS VR system function together. This offers manual focus using the Dual Pixel AF technology and peak manual focus. In conjunction with the Magic Window user interface.
The EOS VR Utility and EOS VR Plugin programs were also developed by the business. Each is available for $5 per month as a subscription (with a free trial period).
VR Utility, on the other hand, reverses stereo visuals from left to right. Additionally, it was converted from a circular image to an equilateral square image that could be viewed using virtual reality glasses.
It also provides quick editing tools like clip clipping and lookup table application. Allowing you to change to resolutions and preset file types (DPX, Pro Res, H264, etc.) before exporting.
The EOS VR plug-in for Adobe Premiere is also available. Which makes a rectangle out of twin fisheye photos. While offering complete control over cutting and editing in Premiere Pro. It also allows you to export snapshots according to your preferences for various genres.
You can also utilize the existing Camera Connect app and the EOS Utility to control your capture in addition to these apps. Both are being updated to provide live view remote control features for on-the-go monitoring, according to Canon.
See you soon guys đđđž
