Review 130: 28.08.2021 at 07:00 pm

💬 Hi guys, ✌ I’ve reached another devices that competes with the Pixel with the price,đŸ„‡đŸ˜‰ specs, but it is from OnePlus.

Nord series received huge media momentum., and now the second version is released, it is the OnePlus Nord 32 5G, it is a mid-range device that offers high charging speeds and high performance with daily usage and games, it comes with a 90Hz screen. But like the Pixel, it doesn’t support an SD card. And it is not yet officially available in all regions, But OnePlus now have an official representative some countries like KSA and Dubai…đŸ€

The Nord 2 could be one of the devices that are officially available in our market. The device is mostly made from glass except for the frame, which is made from plastic. The back is curved. And the top left, there’s a vertical rectangular that houses the rear cameras.

The front is mostly a screen, it comes with a punch hole that houses the .front facing camera The thickness of the device is 8.25mm. Which is a bit more than the Pixel. it is also a bit heavier than the Pixel, weighing around 189g. Despite that, we didn’t have any problem handling the device with one hand. The weight of the device logical.

The device comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI CPU. It comes with 8 cores and 6nm architecture build. It supports 5G networks. The GPU is the Mali G77 MC9. Here’s the shock. In Geekbench 5, the CPU scored 801 points for the single core and 2836 points for multicores. It offers way better performance than the Pixel device. Here’s where the CPU performance is ranked among other competitors.

PUBG game started with high settings automatically, and the performance was high and smooth.

The device comes with a 4500mAh battery. And it supports OnePlus’ Warp Charging with 65W. It fully charges the battery in 30 minutes. The device comes with a bigger battery and faster charging speeds. The screen is 6.43″ Fluid AMOLED. The resolution is FHD+ 2400×1080, it comes with 410ppi density and supports sRGB. After experimenting with it, the screen offers deep blacks and accurate and saturated colors.

In general, it is excellent for this category. It supports 90Hz refresh rate, and this means it is smoother Especially with the supported content, like games.

The device comes with 3 rear cameras, and they are as follows: The main camera is the Wide 50MP. It comes with the Sony IMX 766 sensor. This sensor is supposed to withdraw more light to offer the best possible quality. The camera supports OIS.

The second camera is the Ultra Wide 8MP. The third is the 2MP Monochrome camera. This camera helps with depth and other photography modes.

The front facing camera isn’t 6MP or 8MP, but it is 32MP.

đŸ€Ą How do the cameras perform? Hhh hhhh

đŸ•· The main camera offers very good details and quality. Light withdrawal is s satisfactory and the colors are warm, it also depends on different circumstances, and I consider it satisfactory.

The Ultra Wide lens offers similar results. But the colors are a bit cold in some circumstances. The details are nearly the same, and they are very good. The device supports 5x optical zoom. And the results are satisfactory, it supports digital zoom up to 10x, but the quality will degrade. Because the zoom here depends on software.

In portrait, the isolation varies. It depends on the lighting, but in general the results are very good. The device records videos with 4K@30fps. The quality and details are good. Stabilization also offers satisfactory performance. The front facing camera also offers good results. The colors are a bit cold, sometimes warm, and the skin is a bit beautified. In portrait photos, the results are good. But in some circumstances, the results will vary. It depends on different circumstances. What do you think of these photos? 😁😁😁😁

They’re taken from the same angle, and each device offers the best they have. The Pixel device uses algorithms. While the OnePlus device using powerful sensors. Let me know in the comment section which one is better.

Let me now discuss the device’s specs:

The device we have here comes with 256GB storage. It supports dual Nano SIM cards. Which is excellent. The device runs Android 11 with OxygenOS 11.3 on top of it. The UI is simple, fast and easy to use, it is very similar to Stock Android. It supports Google Play store and all Google services.

The device supports bluetooth 5.2 and dual band WiFi. It also supports NFC to help you with payments. And you can also use STC Pay digital wallet. The device comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. After experimenting with it, it offers high responsiveness.

I personally think it is excellent compared to other devices in the same category, it also supports unlocking using the front facing camera, but without dedicated sensors. I don’t recommend it. I bought the device from the UK market.

The box includes the device, quick charger and the charging cable. The price is a bit pricier than the Pixel, it costs 649 USD without shipping cost.. The price could be different from region to another, though.

Let me give you my experience with this device guys…🔌

Pros: 😍😍😍

It comes with high build quality, and plastic was only used for the frame, unlike the Pixel. The battery is big and supports 65W fast charging, Which is excellent for this category, it comes with a 90Hz screen, which is satisfactory for this category. The CPU offers high performance for daily usage and games.

Cons: đŸ˜đŸ€’đŸ€’đŸ€’

Like the Pixel, it doesn’t support SD card. But it is a good option since it supports dual SIM cards. The problem is that it not yet officially available in our region. But they’ll have a representative in some countries…đŸ’€đŸ’€

The OS is a bit laggy, but it could be solved with future software updates. The is the second generation of the Nord series. The Pixel and the Nord devices are excellent options when it comes to performance and balanced specs.

Honestly, most people who look to have an Android experience will be satisfied with either of these devices. What’s not good, though, is that they are not yet officially available in our region. Buying them would be a risk. This is the end of this review.

Let me know what other devices should I compare, See you soon.💬✌
