🕷 Let’s now discuss the Motorola Moto 5 5G+: The device is made from plastic and it comes with a rear square that houses the 4 rear cameras. The front is mostly a screen.
There’s 2 punch holes to house the front facing cameras. The device resists splashes, and its thickness is 9mm and weighs 207g.
The screen size us 6.7 and it is called CinemaVision Display. It is an LTPS panel with FHD+ resolution. 2520x1080p. It supports 90Hz and comes with 409ppi density.
The device comes with 4 rear cameras: the main one is 48MP with Quad Pixel technology support. The second is the 8MP Ultra Wide lens with 118 field of view. The third is the 5MP Macro lens.
The fourth is the 2MP Depth sensor. The front facing camera is 8MP and the second is the 16MP Ultra Wide lens.
The device offers very good photography experience. The main and Ultra Wide cameras offer similar colors. The Macro lens takes great photos.
The Portrait photos are excellent whether from the rear or front facing cameras. The device shoots videos with 4K@30fps. It also supports 1080p@60fps videos. The CPU inside is the SD765G. It comes with 8 cores and 8nm architecture build.
The GPU is the Adreno 619. The device supports 5G networks.
In Geekbench 5, the CPU scored 578 points for the single core and 1654 points for multicores. Here’s where the CPU performance is ranked among other competitors.
In PUBG game, the device offered excellent performance with the High settings. The RAM is either 4GB or 6GB.
The onboard storage is either 64GB or 128GB. It supports two SIM cards and an SD card up to 1TB. This gives it an excellent feature.
The OS is Android 10 with My UX UI on top of it. The UI is very similar to the stock Android from Google. The device supports bluetooth 5.1 and dual band WiFi. It also supports 5G and NFC.
The fingerprint sensor is embedded in the power button, and it offers good responsiveness. It supports unlocking using the front facing cameras, but it doesn’t use dedicated 3D sensors. It comes with a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The battery is 5000mAh. The battery is supposed to last for 2 days when fully charged. It supports 20W fast charging using the TurboPower technology.
The box contains a clear cover, 20W charger, charging cable and headphones. The device comes with wavy blue color. It costs 500 usd, or 261 euros.
Portrait photos are good, and the battery size is huge. It supports 5G, 90Hz display, which are great features.
But they didn’t pay attention to the build quality. But it comes with a protective cover. The build quality could’ve been better.
Honestly, with all the features it packed and the amazing 1200 SAR price, I consider it a great device.
Especially that it supports all the needed and important features and specs.
