đź•· Samsung Galaxy M51 device! In this review, I’ll review this device that offer lots of excellent features. This smartphone is from the mid-range category.

Let me review the Galaxy M51 device. The device is mostly made from plastic. While reviewing it, we noticed that it easily scratches. You should use a protection cover with it.

The rear comes with a mirror-like finish. The frame is curvey and there’s a rectangular on the back that houses the rear cameras. The front is mostly screen with a punch hole in the top middle to house the front facing camera.

Samsung calls the screen Infinity-O Display. The thickness of the device is 9.5mm, which is a bit thick. It weighs 213g. It comes with the Snapdragon 739G CPU with 8 cores.

In Geekbench 5, the CPU scored 547 points for the single core and 1801 points for multicores. Here’s where the CPU performance is ranked among other competitors. PUBG game started with high settings with high smoothness.

The device supports Game Booster mode, which will enhance the performance of the device while gaming. Through this mode, you’ll know the performance of the battery, monitor the device’s temperature, and allows you to capture videos and photos while gaming. The battery of the device is 7000mAh. It’s clear that Samsung focuses on the battery \with the M series.

There’s another upcoming device from Samsung with a 7000mAh battery.

The device supports fast charging with 25W.

According to Samsung, the battery will last for 34 hours of content watching. Or 64 hours of audio call. The screen size is 6.7 with FHD+ resolution. It is a Super AMOLED Plus panel. It comes with 20:9 aspect ratio and 60Hz refresh rate, which is logical on this category.

The Galaxy M51 comes with 4 rear cameras. The main camera is 64MP, and the second is the Ultra Wide 12MP lens with 123 degree of view. The third is the 5MP Macro lens and the fourth is the 5MP Depth sensor. The front facing camera is 32MP.

Let me now discuss the photography experiment. The main camera offers very good outcome. The colors are saturated, and sometimes, they’re warm other times, they’re cold.

In general, the results are satisfactory. The Ultra Wide camera offers 123 degree of view. The details are satisfactory with warm and saturated colors. Before I continue with the photography experiment, let me tell you that the price of this device is 1200 SAR. Here’s a list of other currencies. This device is considered from the economic category.

But its specs are excellent, and you’ll see that with the camera experiment.

I made a video for 10 different less-than-200 USD smartphones. You can watch it if you’re looking for a cheaper option. The device supports 10x zoom using the main camera. But the zoom is digital, which means its quality will degrade.

In portrait photos, the isolation is good. But it varies depending on different circumstances. In general, it does its job.

The performance of night mode is acceptable. The details, however, vary depending on place and what’s in the frame. It supports shooting videos with 4K@30fps.

It offers acceptable quality, but the shakiness is a bit high. It supports a feature called Super Steady, which offers high stabalization during movement. But it only supports 1080p@30fps, which is an excellent quality.

The front facing camera offers good performance, but it does smoothen the face’s skin. In portrait photos, it offers good isolation, but it varies depending on different circumstances.

Always face a light source while taking portrait selfies for better outcome. The RAM is 8GB and the onboard storage is 128GB. It supports 2 SIM cards and a Micro SD card. It runs Android 10 with Samsung’s One UI 2.5 on top of it.

The UI is light and easy to use. It supports Google Play store and compatible with Google services. The device supports bluetooth 5, dual band WiFi and is compatible with payment options using NFC.

The device comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button. After experimenting with it, it offers high responsiveness. It supports unlocking using the front facing camera, but it uses the camera instead of dedicated 3D sensors.

I don’t advise using it since it is not secure. The box contains the device, charging cable, fast charging and headphones. It doesn’t come with a cover, which you should use to protect it from scratches.

Pros:

It comes with a 7000mAh battery and supports fast charging. Gaming performance is excellent, and honestly, with this price, the device is amazing. It supports dual SIM card and an SD card. It is an excellent competitor for devices from the A series and mid-range devices in general. But what’s the main difference between it and devices from the A series?

A series device focus on 5G technology and more shortcuts throughout the UI.

Cons:

It runs One UI 2.5, not One UI 3.0. It should receive the update. The back of the device is easy scratch-able. It is strange. you will notice the scratches?
