đ· This is the new Redmi Note 10 device.It comes with great specs, yet affordable price. Let’s find out more about this device together. The Redmi Note 10 is now officially available in the market. It fully supports Google services, and comes with a great price.
Let me now introduce you to this device that comes with a balanced specs and great price. This is the second time that I mentioned the price, because it does come with a great price, actually.
Let me begin the review starting from the design. The device comes with a beautiful design. The back of the device feels like glass, but it’s made from plastic. The back contains a rectangular module to house the rear cameras. If you notice, the main camera take a lot fo space inside the module. I’ll discuss the cameras later in this device.
The front is mostly a screen, and it comes with a punch hole in the top middle to house the front facing camera. The thickness of the device is 8.29mm, which is sort of thin. It weighs 178.8g.
The weight of the device is great for this category. The device is IP53 certified.The CPU of the device is the Snapdragon 678. It comes with 8 cores and is built on 11nm architecture, The GPU is the Adreno 612.
The device costs 186 USD, and probably most of you think whether this CPU is great for gaming or not. We’ve tested the CPU using the Geekbench 5 benchmark, and it scored the following results:
The CPU scored 536 points for the single core and 1352 points for multicores. Here’s where the CPU performance is ranked among other competitors. PUBG game started with medium settings and the device provided excellent smoothness. HDR was turned off.
The battery is 5000mAh, which means it’ll be great for gaming, considering the price of the device. The device supports a feature called Game Turbo. This feature helps increase the gaming performance with lots of shortcut supports while gaming.
These shortcuts include cleaning the RAM, taking screenshots and recording the screen while gaming among many others. As I mentioned before, the battery is 5000mAh, and it supports Mi Turbo Charge technology, which charges the battery with 33W.
According to Xiaomi, this technology charges the battery from 0% to 50% in 30 minutes only. The charging speed is 33W, which is way higher than the charging speed of the Redmi Note 9. But how do you benefit from fast charging?
Considering all what I’ve discussed, you can charge the battery from 0% to 50% in 25 minutes only. The official 33W charger comes in the box. Imagine these specs and how good the price is!
The screen size is 6.43 with FHD+ resolution. The screen is AMOLED, and it is called DotDisplay. The screen’s quality and the colors it provides are better than that of the Redmi Note 9.
The screen comes with 409ppi density. It also supports 60Hz refresh rate, which is logical for this category. The screen comes with a 360 Light sensor, which adjusts the screen’s brightness according to the nature of where you are. It also supports Reading Mode 3.0 technology. This feature makes the colors a bit warm to reduce blue light, so that it can protect your eyes while using the device.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 device comes with 4 rear cameras. The main one is the Wide 48MP camera. The second is the Ultra Wide 18MP camera with 118 degrees of view.
The third is the 2MP Marco camera. The fourth is the 2MP Depth camera. The front facing camera is 13MP.
To get excellent results from the front facing camera, make sure to face a light source. The same thing applies to the rear cameras. The more the light the better the photos will be.
Let me now discuss the photography experience, The main camera provides very good details and quality. It produces satisfactory saturated and warm colors. The color processing may differ depending on different circumstances.
The Ultra Wide camera provides pictures with 118 degrees of view. The details are satisfactory and the colors are saturated. But in most cases, the colors are a bit cold. But in general, the camera does its job well.
The device supports 10x zoom using the main camera. But the quality of details will degrade since it uses digital zoom. In portrait photos, the isolation is good. Results may vary depending on different circumstances. It also depends on the amount of light available.
As I mentioned before, the more the light, the better the portrait photos will be. The results of the Macro photos are different depending on different circumstances.
Sometimes, the results are good, other times they are normal. The device shoots 4K@30fps videos. The results are good. But the color processing vary from time to another.
Sometimes, the colors are warm, other times they are a warm. There’s shakiness in the videos with the 4K resolution. But you can also record with 1080p@60fps resolution. With the resolution, the shakiness will be less, the quality will be acceptable and the colors will be a bit cold compared to 4K videos.
The front facing camera provides good details with a bit of skin beautification. Portrait photos are good, but the isolation depends on different circumstances. The front facing camera is capable of shooting 1080p videos. This is a sample of it. I am fully stretching my arm.
I am also using a light source in front of me, and that’s why the details are clear. This is a video test using the front facing camera. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. This kind of storage provides better reading/writing speeds compared to previous generations.

It also unlock using front facing camera, but it doesn’t have dedicated 3D sensors. I don’t advise using it since it is not safe. The device comes with stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio support.
After experimenting with it, it provides clear audio. The subwoofer performance is acceptable. The box contains a clear cover, fast charging and a charging cable.
The content of the box may differ depending on the region. The device is available in the market. For example, it is available at Amazon. The device comes with 2 versions: the first version comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, and it costs 181 USD.
The second version comes with 4GB fo RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, and it costs 729 SAR. By the way, there’s a bigger brother for this device, and it is called Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro.
This device comes with 4 rear cameras. The main one is 108MP. It also comes with an AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate support. By the way, I haven’t reviewed this device.
The pros of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 is that it comes with a beautiful design. It is also suitable for one handed usage. The screen is beautiful and provides saturated colors.
The gaming performance of the device is good. The battery is huge and it supports fast charging, which is excellent.

The camera app is a bit buggy sometimes. But this will be solved with upcoming software updates. I also wished that the built material would be a bit better. With this Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 device, the competition in this category and with other devices is better.
