4 new iPhones have been announced, I’ll give you the details, prices, availability and the 5th product announced by Apple.
Apple event ended with the announcement of iPhone 12 series with the addition of the new family member, the iPhone 12 mini.
I’ll discuss it during this article guys.
So, During the event, Apple also announced HomePod mini.
It is a smaller version of the HomePod that was announced few years ago, HomePod isn’t available in our region, though.
HomePod mini will cost 99 USD, It will not be available worldwide, instead, it will be available in certain countries.
The device can be connected to the iPhone, can make phone calls and it supports Siri.
It is a great device, but let’s focus on iPhones, The first iPhone announced is the iPhone 12, which will be iPhone 11 predecessor. It comes with a better screen that is protected by a ceramic shield.
The ceramic shield will make the screen 4x more resistant to accidental falls.
It comes with 5 different colors: black, white, red, green and the new blue color. It comes with the A14 CPU, and it supports Smart HDR 3 and MagSafe.
MagSafe is basically magnets on the back to help with wireless charging, and it supports new accessories.

Let me go back to discussing iPhone 12, which now supports 5G technology.
All iPhone 12 series support 5G, iPhone 12 comes with dual camera system: Wide lens and Ultra Wide lens, It is also IP68 water and dust resistant.
Apple then announced the iPhone 12 mini, It is the new family member, and it is the smallest in the new series.
This is the first mini iPhone, iPhone mini is bigger than the iPhone SE first generation.

The new iPhone comes with excellent screen in small form factor. This means that the iPhone 12 series come with more varieties when it comes to sizes.

I think the mini version is excellent. I like Apple’s approach. Apple then announced two new devices.
These two devices are the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
These new device are the predecessors to the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
The new devices come with bigger screens but nearly with the same form factor.
The new devices with a better and bigger screens., Both screens are protected with the ceramic shield.
iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max comes with stainless steel frames., Apple calls it flat design, and it comes with 4 colors: silver, gold, ocean blue and black.
It comes with 3 rear cameras: wide, ultra wide and telephoto.
The cameras come with new sensors, and I’ll discuss them in the full reviews, The new cameras support Apple ProRAW mode, Video recording has also been developed.
During the event, Apple showed a professional video editor editing a video on the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max.
If anything, it means video processing is powerful on these devices.
5G technology is supported on all 4 new devices.
The Pro devices come with a LiDAR sensor, which will provide better ambience sense for apps that support AR.
Let me now discuss the CPU, which comes with high capabilities and is found in the whole iPhone 12 series, The CPU is the A14 Bionic.
According to Apple, the new CPU is revolutionary when it comes to additional features, The Neural Engine is 80% faster.
It comes with better machine learning capabilities, It also comes with a better GPU, It comes with high capabilities and better security and privacy, It is the first CPU built on 5nm process technology.
The CPU and software of the device are made by one company, which means it is highly optimized.
Let’s now discuss the availability and pre-orders:
iPhone 12 series will be available in two waves.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 will start in October the 16th.
The availability will start in October the 23rd, The second wave will be for the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Pre-orders for these devices will start in November the 6th and the availability in November the 13th.
