Few things have changed since the end of the Apple event, Let me explain these changes for you.
Hello guys, how are you! bring your coffee, This is a special earticle about After iPhone 12 EventâŠđ
Apple have changed policies and they’ve angered a lot of users! đ
They also created new technologies that I must explain for you. But I had to thoroughly check their website to find these details.
The website shows different new iPhones, and this happens after every new release.
The cheapest iPhone you can buy from the Apple website is the iPhone SE 2nd gen. Followed by iPhone Xr, which was released 2 years ago.
Followed by iPhone 11 and the new iPhone 12 series, which contains 4 different devices.
Apple website officially shows 7 different iPhones, This doesn’t mean that other iPhones won’t receive support or updates. But this the new Apple’s iPhone guideline.
All 4 new iPhones won’t come with a charger or a headphone.
This also applies to iPhone SE 2nd gen, iPhone Xr and iPhone 11. It will only contain the charging cable, iPhone and user manual.
You can then buy a wall adapter and headphones separately, But iPhones available in the market will still come with the charger, and the boxes won’t change unless they’re sold out.
Don’t buy a wall adapter and a new charging cable unless you really need it.
Apple rationalized it by saying this move will protect the environment.
In their opinion, if Apple sells 50 million devices without these accessories, then they’ll save money and protect the environment!đ
All 4 new iPhones support 20w wired charging, which is excellent, Previous iPhones support 18w charging speed, But Apple website says the new iPhones support 20w.
All iPhones including iPhone 8, X, Xr, Xs, Xs Max now support 20w. All these new iPhones will be able to charge from 0% to 50% in 30 minutes.
Let me remind you to keep drinking your best coffe guys â
And Let me continue discussing charging.
All iPhones that support Qi wireless charging, including iPhone 12 series, support 7.5w.
Unless you use the MagSafe technology, But what is MagSafe? It is a technology that was introduced with MacBook devices back in 2006.
It was then developed in 2012 to be called MagSafe 2 with MacBook devices. But this technology has been developed to work with the new iPhones.
This MagSafe feature enables charging with 15w. Apple also can grant third party manufactures to make MagSafe accessories, More companies now will create MagSafe accessories.
Whether they create chargers, wallets or covers, These accessories will be available later.
But these companies will have to pay Apple to grant them permissions to make these accessories, It is a new source of profit for Apple.
Older generations of iPhones support IP68 water and dust resistant.
This means that iPhone can last up to 30 minutes in 2m of fresh water, But the new iPhone 12 series can last up to 6m for 30 minutes.
This doesn’t mean that you should sink your iPhone in water! đ
The new iPhones support 5G technology, and we were afraid whether these iPhones will work in our region or not. »
According to the official Apple website, the difference between our iPhone and US iPhones is that US iPhones support 2 more 5G bands.
According to the website, if you buy an iPhone from USA, it will work in other contries, and Both devices will support sub 6 and mmwave bands.
iPhones directed to China and USA will support the same 5G bands.
iPhone 12 series will support FaceTime in FHD while using 5G and WiFi.
Previous devices didn’t specify the resolution of FaceTime, Apple announce iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The main difference is the extra camera and LiDER sensor.
Let’s now discuss the differences between the cameras.
iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro nearly have the same cameras.
iPhone 12 supports 2x zoom, while the iPhone 12 Pro supports 4x zoom.
The reason is that the Pro version comes with a Telephoto camera.
iPhone 12 also comes with a better OIS, and we’ll find the results with the full review.
Let me now discuss Apple ProRAW technology:
It is a new feature to help professional make better content, This feature will come later to the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max.
It will not be available with launch. Apple will later release it, and I’ll let you know when đ
The other difference between the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro is the Night Portrait Mode, This mode will be better with the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max.
I expect this mode will only be available with the rear cameras as they have a better sensor and a LiDER sensor.
But technically speaking, the front facing cameras are the same, according to Apple website!
Apple updated their website, and they announced that the iPhones will come in 2 waves:
First pre-order will start in October the 16th, and the devices will be available in October the 23rd, This wave will only be for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro.
The second preorder will start in November the 6th, and the devices will be available in November the 13th.
And it will be for the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
This means that I’ll review these devices in two waves, And then I’ll compare the whole series, to know which device is best for you.
Let me confirm that the size of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will be the exact same.
But the Pro version is heavier because of the extra cameras.
Let me remind you to check your needs before you decide to buy anything.
Let me also remind you that if you have iPhone 11, then you don’t need to upgrade, unless you are a professional photographer.
Also skip a generation, as you see, each generation comes with different design, iPhone 6, 6s and 7 came with a metal back, and later iPhone 8 came with a glass back, And since then, all iPhones came with a glass back.
Is it worth it to upgrade after all the investments you bought such as accessories, covers and chargers? But it is up to you check your needs.
With all the technologies and features, Apple leads the smartphone market.
This is the end of this blog, but how was your Coffe? đ
Hopefully, it was informative for you guys.
See you later.
